    摘要: A servo circuit is provided for use with a reproducing apparatus wherein an information signal is reproduced from an elongated slant track formed on a tape which is wrapped on the periphery of a guide drum having a rotary head. The servo circuit includes a circuit for detecting an intermediate point of the length of the slant track and generating a timing signal at the detection of the intermediate point and a circuit for comparing the timing signal with a reference pulse to generate a control signal. A relative position of the slant track to the rotary head is controlled in accordance with the control signal.

A controller is provided with a mode signal indicating a normal playback mode or a fast playback mode of the record medium playback apparatus for controlling the first and second memories so as to read out the digital information data and flag data, respectively, when the mode signal indicates the normal reproducing mode and so as to read out the digital information data without error and the flag data, respectively, when the mode signal indicates the fast reproducing mode.

    摘要: A digital data recording and reproducing device has an operation of error detection performed with respect to data with a code word length of M bits for m.sub.1 most significant bits and for m.sub.2 least significant bits. Error concealment is done for each of these error detections. When reproducing data at a different tape speed from that at the time of recording an operation of detecting an error in the less significant m.sub.2 bits is inhibited, and the reference of judgement of an error in the data is altered.

    摘要: In an apparatus for use with a video tape having a longitudinal track in which an address signal is recorded and successive slant tracks in which a video signal and an information signal are recorded at predetermined intervals; a magnetic head unit reproduces the video signal, the information signal, and the address signal. The information signal is applied to a pulse generator for generating a control pulse signal, and an address indication circuit provides an address indication in response to the address signal or the control pulse signal. A control circuit is provided for coupling one or the other of the address signal and the control pulse signal to the address indication circuit selectively in response to the speed of movement of the tape.

As a result, there is provided a single-crystal manufacturing apparatus that enables, in manufacture of a single crystal of a large diameter, e.g., approximately 200 mm or more, an operating rate of the single-crystal manufacturing apparatus and productivity of the single crystal to be improved.

    摘要: A single-crystal manufacturing apparatus comprises a chamber, a crucible in the chamber, a heater arranged around the crucible, a lifting mechanism for lifting a seed crystal, and a guide passage for the seed crystal and a grown single crystal. In the single-crystal manufacturing apparatus, a material polycrystal contained the crucible is melted by a heater, and the seed crystal is made to contact the molten polycrystal and is lifted. The single-crystal manufacturing apparatus comprises a cylindrical quartz tube having a curved bottom portion, and a dome-shaped quartz plate. The curved bottom portion faces the crucible from the upper portion of the chamber through the guide passage. The quartz plate is arranged to enclose the quartz tube. The quartz tube has a reflecting structure for reflecting a heat ray from at least its bottom portion whereas the quartz plate has a reflecting structure for reflecting the heat ray to the crucible.
