摘要: A capacitive load drive circuit that has reduced power consumption due to residual carriers, and a PDP apparatus using the same, have been disclosed. In the drive circuit, the power consumption due to the residual carriers, which are formed when a diode provided in parallel to a switch circuit of the capacitive load drive circuit is brought into conduction, is reduced and the switch circuit connected in parallel to the diode is brought into conduction during a period of time from when the diode is brought into conduction until when the potential of a terminal to which the diode is connected changes. By bringing the switch circuit connected in parallel into conduction, a closed circuit is formed by the diode and the switch circuit and the residual carriers formed in the diode are reduced. The voltage of the closed circuit is substantially zero V and, therefore, power consumption is very small even if a current due to the residual carriers flows through the closed circuit.

摘要: A first signal line (OUTA) supplies a first electric potential to a terminal of an X-side of a load (20) through a switch (SW4). A second signal line (OUTB) supplies a second electric potential to the terminal of the X-side of the load (20) through a switch (SW5). Coil circuits (A and B) are connected between the first signal line (OUTA) and the second signal line (OUTB) and a ground. Furthermore, each of the coil circuits (A and B) is a circuit configured with, for example, a coil and a diode, and the coil is connected so as to carry out L-C resonance with the load (20) through the switches (SW4 and SW5).

摘要: A voltage control system for vehicles includes a power supply control circuit which allows power to be supplied to a voltage regulator circuit from a battery through a voltage detection line only when a key switch is turned on. The voltage regulator circuit controls the energization of a generator depending on the terminal voltage of the battery detected through the voltage detection line. The power supply control circuit includes a voltage divider circuit for detecting a voltage developed at an output terminal of an auxiliary rectifier associated with the generator when the connection of the output terminal to the battery is completed upon closing the key switch. The power supply control circuit also includes an output transistor controlled by the voltage detected by the voltage divider circuit and when the detected voltage reaches a predetermined level, the output transistor is rendered conductive and allows the supply of power from the battery to the voltage regulator circuit through the voltage detection line.

摘要: A generator operation indicating apparatus for vehicle generators having a protective circuit against abnormal voltage, includes a drive circuit for turning an indicating device on from the time of closing of a key switch until the time that a vehicle generator attains a predetermined operating condition to indicate the generator operation and a control circuit for forcibly rendering the drive circuit inoperative in response to the occurrence of an abnormal voltage between the indicating device and the drive circuit. When the generator attains the predetermined operating condition, the indicating device is turned off and the supply of current to a load circuit is started. In this case, the drive circuit is also forced to come out of operation upon occurrance of an abnormal supply voltage.
