    摘要: A stator for an electric rotating machine includes a hollow cylindrical stator core and a stator coil made up of a plurality of electric wires mounted on the stator core. The stator core has a plurality of slots that are formed in a radially inner surface of the stator core and spaced at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction of the stator core. The stator core also has a plurality of tooth portions each of which is formed to radially extend between one circumferentially-adjacent pair of the slots. Moreover, the stator core further has a plurality of displacement restricting portions each of which is formed, as an integral part of the stator core, on an axial end face of a corresponding one of the tooth portions of the stator core to restrict displacement of the stator coil relative to the stator core.

    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for rolling a substantially planar electric wire by more than one turn into a spiral shape. The apparatus includes an inner pressing member having an outer surface, an intermediate pressing member having radially inner and outer surfaces, and an outer pressing member having an inner surface. The inner and intermediate pressing members together press a first part of the electric wire between the outer surface of the inner pressing member and the inner surface of the intermediate pressing member, thereby plastically deforming the first part to extend along the outer surface of the inner pressing member. The intermediate and outer pressing members together press a second part of the electric wire between the outer surface of the intermediate pressing member and the inner surface of the outer pressing member, thereby plastically deforming the second part to extend along the outer surface of the intermediate pressing member.

    摘要: A portable overhead projector includes a projection unit having a light source and a projection lens, a stage having a Fresnel lens which has a reflecting surface facing the projection unit, and an arm part for connecting the projection unit with the stage. The arm is sized to accommodate the projection unit and the stage when these are folded thereinto. The size of the projector when the projection unit and the stage are folded into the arm part is not substantially larger than approximately a length of 184 mm, a width of 135 mm, and a thickness of 58 mm. Since each member can be folded, it is possible to make the portable overhead projector compact so that users can conveniently carry such an overhead projector in their bags.

The gas discharging nozzle shuts a high density energy beam intruding into the inside space of the metal cylinder through a hole, so that the energy beam is prevented from being emitted to an opposite side inner surface of the metal cylinder. Dross formed during the cut-machining is drifted and swept to the outside by an assist gas flowing out from the inside space of the metal cylinder through the hole, and is blown out by the assist gas flowing on an outside surface of the metal cylinder around the hole, thereby preventing the dross from sticking to peripheral area of the hole.

    摘要: An image pickup system is provided wherein an illumining device illumines an object from above on its front side. When an image of the object is to be picked up, a moving device moves the position of the image pickup device relative to the object so as to easily pickup the image of the object. To this end, a commodity as an object is placed within an image pickup box. An image of the commodity is picked up by a camera placed outside the box. In this case, the commodity is illumined by the illumining device from above on its front side. The camera and the commodity are moved relative to each other. Thus, illumination blurs are reduced and a clear image is easily picked up.

The inner duct includes a thin film over its entire surface. The film has a first reinforcement section formed in a direction parallel to the flow direction, and a plurality of vibrating surfaces. The film is bent at the first reinforcement section. Each combination of adjacent two of the plurality of vibrating surfaces is connected by the first reinforcement section. The first reinforcement section of the inner duct is fixed to the outer duct.

The housing portion is provided with a ring portion, which is formed by machining an outer circumference wall thereof and whose thickness is thinner than that of a part of the housing portion adjacent to the ring portion to an extent that mechanical strength of the housing portion is not damaged. The ring portion is provided with a plurality of through-holes penetrating radially the wall thereof. A magnetic flux area of the ring portion is limited due to the thin wall and the through-holes so that magnetic resistance is enlarged.

    摘要: According to a method for producing a duct, a cylindrical preform, which opens at its both end portions in a longitudinal direction and has a central part, is formed. The central part is narrowed with respect to the both end portions. The central part has a smaller cross-sectional area than that of the both end portion. The preform is formed from a thermoplastic material, which increases in strength when stretched. Next, the preform is heated. Then, stretch blow molding is performed on the preform by stretching the preform in axial and radial directions thereof, such that the cross-sectional area of the central part becomes generally the same as that of the both end portion, or equal to or larger than that of the both end portion. The central part is narrowed to such an extent that it retains predetermined strength after performing the molding on the preform.
