The member store installs it in the computer and uses as a member store terminal. The computer for installation may be a general-purpose computer, such as a personal computer, for example, capable of substantially reducing burdens of terminal installation on the member store side and of terminal management on the electronic money center side. The terminal application is configured so that the hardware information of the predetermined hardware provided in the computer for installation may be collected and stored at the time of installation. The terminal application then acquires the hardware information from this hardware at the time of starting of the member store terminal to compare it with the hardware information stored at the time of installation.

The function of generating transaction numbers is transferred from the electronic money server to affiliated store servers, so that the transaction numbers are generated by the affiliated store servers. The transaction numbers are each associated with transaction information calculated in accordance with a calculation rule confidential to third parties, such that the electronic money server can detect the presence of alteration of the transaction information based on the transaction number. Furthermore, at the time of generating a transaction number, a seed, which is time-limited secret information confidential to third parties, is inputted to the calculation rule along with the transaction information and used for calculating the transaction number, whereby it is possible to further enhance the level of security.

    摘要: An object is to properly perform failure recovery in an electronic money system where on-line terminals and off-line terminals coexist. For both an electronic money card and a center server, a flag selectable between two values, “transaction in progress” and “transaction completed”, is prepared. In the course of processing information between the electronic money card and the center server, the processing is caused to progress while setting their flags on (inverting them from “transaction completed” to “transaction in progress”), or setting them off (resetting them from “transaction in progress” to “transaction completed”) in a synchronized manner. If any failure occurs during the processing, the state of the flag at the time of occurrence of the failure is saved in both of them, and therefore based on these states, it is possible to specify the time at which the failure has occurred.

    摘要: In a monetary information processing method, an amount remitted by a remitter to a financial account in a banking system and monetary terminal identification information identifying a monetary terminal that stores a monetary value are acquired from the banking system. The acquired amount is divided into unit amounts when the acquired amount exceeds a preselected amount. Amount update information is transmitted to the monetary terminal to increase the monetary value by the acquired amount when the acquired amount does not exceed the preselected amount or by any selected one of the unit amounts provided that the acquired amount or the selected unit amount does not exceed an allowable limit previously set for the monetary terminal. The amount acquired from the banking system is decreased by the amount by which the monetary value is increased in accordance with the amount update information.

Then, the lower-level master node transmits a write set containing a shadow copy of its own database, a heap tuple map deployed on its own memory and the transaction minimum value to the higher-level master node, and the higher-level master node receiving the write set updates the database by use of the write set if the transaction minimum value is equal to or larger than the cluster minimum value, and aborts the write set if the transaction minimum value is smaller than the cluster minimum value.

The radius of pitch circle of the large gear is chosen to be equal to or greater than the arm length of the proximal side end link member.
