摘要: In a wind noise reduction device that reduces wind noise contained in an input sound signal to generate a corrected sound signal, when a predetermined band including the band of the wind noise is a first band and a predetermined band higher in frequency than the first band is a second band, the wind noise reduction device includes: a first corrector that has a signal generator generating, based on a sound signal (i) contained in the input sound signal and lying in a band higher in frequency than the first band, a sound signal (ii) lying in the first band and different from a sound signal (iii) contained in the input sound signal and lying in the first band, and that generates a first corrected sound signal based on the sound signal (ii) generated by the signal generator; a second corrector that reduces the signal level of a sound signal (iv) contained in the input sound signal and lying in the second band to thereby generate a second corrected sound signal as a sound signal (v) having the wind noise reduced and lying in the second band; and a corrected sound signal outputter that outputs the corrected sound signal based on the first and second corrected sound signals.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a developer container, a first calculator, and a second calculator. The first calculator calculates an amount of the developer supplied to the image bearing member from the developer container, on the basis of an amount of the developer measured by a measuring device after an image forming operation, and an amount of the developer initially contained in the developer container. A controller outputs an information signal relating to the developer amount accumulated in the collection container on the basis of the amount of the developer calculated by the first calculator and the amount of the developer calculated by the second calculator.

摘要: The present invention has an object of providing a liquid crystal display device having a high transmittance or a high viewing angle characteristic. A liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes a pixel electrode (30) including a peripheral portion (36), an island portion (32) and a plurality of branch portions (34). The plurality of branch portions (34) are formed of a plurality of first through fourth branch portions (34A through 34D) respectively extending in first through fourth directions. By these branch portions, first through fourth regions (35A through 35D) in which liquid crystal molecules are aligned in different directions from each other at the time of voltage application are formed. The island portion (32) is surrounded by the first through fourth regions (35A through 35D), and is connected to the peripheral portion (36) by a connection portion (38) but not by any of the plurality of branch portions (34) or connected to the peripheral portion (36) by one of the first through fourth branch portions (34A through 34D).

摘要: A gaming machine executes a process with new entertainability. The game executes a normal game accepting an input of selecting any of the plurality of the specific symbols stop-displayed, in response to a fact that a plurality of the specific symbols are stop-displayed, in the normal game executed. A benefit is awarded according to the specific symbols selected. Whether or not to generate a specific game state is determined, in response to the specific symbols selected. An input of selecting a specific symbol other than the specific symbol previously selected is accepted from among the plurality of specific symbols stop-displayed, in response to a fact that it is determined that the specific game state has been generated. A benefit is awarded according to the specific symbol selected in the last processing.

摘要: Disclosed is an MVA type liquid crystal display device (LCD 100A) forming four domains in which liquid crystal molecules fall in different directions that are about 90° apart. The MVA type liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix of rows and columns, which pixels are horizontally long pixels having longer sides extending in the row direction. Each pixel includes two first electrodes (21a and 21b) arranged side by side along the row direction. Preferably, at least one of the two first electrodes (21a and 21b) has a first corner section including a first edge that is parallel to the row direction and a second edge that is parallel to the column direction, and the first substrate further includes an electrode layer (16c) overlapping at least a portion of the first edge or the second edge of the first corner section. According to the present invention, display quality deterioration caused by disturbed alignment of liquid crystal molecules occurring near the edges of the pixel electrodes can be suppressed.
