摘要: The open/close body drive device is capable of restarting a brushless motor, without using magnetic pole sensors, so as to securely drive an open/close body in an arbitrary direction when any of the magnetic pole sensors has failed. When a CPU (1) detects an abnormal logic as a detection pattern of the magnetic pole sensors (9), the CPU (1) determines that the sensor has failed and temporarily stops drive of a DC brushless motor (5), and a motor drive unit (4) generates a phase switching signal to prolong one of electric connection patterns for performing sensorless drive when restarting the DC brushless motor (5).

摘要: There are provided a ceramic electronic component and a method for producing the ceramic electronic component, where a ground electrode layer can be directly coated with lead-free solder without lowering reliabilities. Terminal electrode 3 is provided with a ground electrode layer 21 of Cu having been formed by firing, a solder layer 22 formed of a lead-free solder based on five elements of Sn—Ag—Cu—Ni—Ge, and a diffusion layer 23 having been formed by the diffusion of Ni between the ground electrode layer 21 and the solder layer 22. Because the diffusion layer 23 of Ni is formed between the ground electrode layer 21 and the solder layer 22, the diffusion layer 23, which functions as a barrier layer, suppresses the solder leach of Cu from the ground electrode layer 21. The diffusion layer 23 of Ni can also suppress the growth of fragile intermetallic compounds of Sn—Cu. Therefore, a decrease in the bonding strength between the ground electrode layer 21 and the solder layer 22 can be prevented.

摘要: A memory card connector includes a main body and mounted on the body for receiving a memory card therebetween. The card is insertable to a fully mated position, and the cover is mounted for movement on the body from an inoperative position to an eject position. An eject device includes a single spring mounted on the body and having a first portion. Operatively associated with the cover to bias the cover toward its inoperative position. A second portion of the single spring is operatively associated with the memory card for biasing the card in an eject direction away from its mated position.

摘要: An intermediate connector for engaging a surface mount connector and a cable connector contains conductive terminals in a body portion. The body portion is cooperatively defined by distinct and separate terminal contact support portions that are affixed to opposite ends of the connector terminals. The support portions may be affixed to the connector terminals from different directions and thus eliminates the need for a complex, molded connector housing. The support portions and the terminals are held together and aligned together by a retainer and a spacer is provided to maintain a desired spacing between the terminals of the connector.

摘要: A printing device and control method that facilitates setting of waiting periods for cut-sheet paper insertion and commencement of paper transport or printing through application of waiting time control commands. By establishing a command for setting these waiting periods and incorporating apparatus in the printer for analyzing such a command, a configuration is realized in which these waiting periods are settable and adjustable by the host computer. This provides more efficient POS type printer control and allows setting of the desired time required for positioning recording paper according to operator experience. An interface unit is used to receive and interpret print data and recording paper positioning time setting commands and data from the host computer. The received commands and data are temporarily stored in a data memory, and after insertion of the recording paper is detected, used by one or more timing circuits to wait for a set amount of time before transport of or printing on the cut-sheet paper is initiated by a printing mechanism controller, during which time paper positioning is confirmed.
