    摘要: A remote operation apparatus comprises a MA term having a video display, an operation data generator, and a parameter data generator and at least a slave term, coupled to the MA term through at least a network, including operation data receiver, a video data generator and a display, a screen parameter receiver, and a video data acquiring portion. The operation data generator generates and transmits operation data to the video data generator of the slave term to generate and display video data. The screen parameter data generator generates screen parameter data indicating required video data and quality and transmits it to a video data acquiring portion acquiring the generated video data in the required region and quality and transmits it to the display of the MA term. A resource data of the networks and interface ckts is held by the slave term and is transmitted to the screen parameter data generator to utilize the resource data for generation of the screen parameter. The operation data generator may require to transmit drawing data to the slave term. The MA term holds imaginary screen including screen regions of slave terms. The operation data can be duplicated for another slave term. The video data in one slave term is duplicated in the memory in the MA term and transmitted to another slave term.

    摘要: A control information generating apparatus is provided which is used in broadcast systems designed to transmit audio and video signals and/or teletext signals together with video control information and program information in multiplexed form. The control information generating apparatus transmits EPG (Electronic Program Guide) information (i.e., control information) for transmission of the audio and video signals and includes a control information generating circuit and a control information outputting circuit. The control information generating circuit receives program schedule information on a program from a broadcast database to generate and output control information. The control information outputting circuit receives and output the control information to a multiplexer in which the control information and a data signal from an audio/video data transmitter are multiplexed and transmitted on a carrier wave.

The electronic program information degree of detail setting information indicates a degree of detail for the contents of the individual electronic program information described on an individual level and a degree of detail for contents of the general electronic program information described on a general level. The general level corresponds to a low degree of detail, and the individual level corresponds to a high degree of detail. One piece of individual electronic program information of a particular channel service and pieces of general electronic program information of channel services, other than the particular channel service, are multiplexed and transmitted to each viewer. Accordingly, the general electronic program information and the individual electronic program information can be transmitted while effectively using a data transmission band.

Exemplary devices may include a semiconductor substrate including a transistor forming region and a capacitor forming region; a MOSFET; a MOS capacitor; a projection formed within a periphery of the capacitor electrode of the MOS capacitor; and a floating gate electrode extending from the channel region of the MOSFET to overlap the projection of the capacitor electrode, with a gate insulating film interposed therebetween. The projection may include an inclined surface which may have a concave shape and/or the projection may extend above a capacitor groove having a undercut portion beneath the projection.

    摘要: Even though photolithography with a diameter of 0.20 μm or less is employed, a contact hole having a tapered shape with a required width including a positioning tolerance can be formed in a narrower gap between the gate electrodes. A method forms a minute contact hole between gate electrodes of a semiconductor device, which has a silicon dioxide film disposed at an upper layer of the semiconductor device and a BPSG film disposed below the silicon dioxide film. The BPSG film has gate electrodes therein, and no silicon nitride film is disposed on top and side surfaces of the gate electrodes, and no silicon nitride film is disposed above the gate electrodes. The silicon dioxide film is etched by a mixed gas of CF4, O2 and Ar at a substrate temperature of at least 40° C. The BPSG film is etched by over-etching of the silicon dioxide film so that a W-like shape is formed in the BPSG film. Subsequently the BPSG film is etched by a mixed gas of C4F8, CH2F2 and Ar without including CO gas and O2 gas so that the contact hole between the adjacent gate electrodes has a forward tapered shape with a tapered angle of less than 90 degree.
