    摘要: A fuel pump mounting structure has an opening in a side surface or a bottom surface of a fuel tank. A fuel pump assembly including a cylindrical pump body and a filter connected to a suction side of the pump body is accommodated in a space located inside of the opening. A flange section of a housing that encloses the pump body engages an outside surrounding area of the opening. A mounting plate covers the outside of the flange section. The fuel pump assembly is fixed to the opening through the flange section and the mounting plate. The axis of the pump body extends generally parallel to a mounting surface of the mounting plate, and the pump body and the filter overlap each other relative to a position in a direction of the axis. The mounting structure reduces the moment against the mounting plate, reliably supports the fuel pump under a stable condition without requiring a large and rigid construction, and improves the seal with the fuel tank.

The intermediate portion 10 comprises a stretchable bellows portion 19 being connected with the minor-diameter cylindrical portion 3 integrally, and a rigidity-producing portion 11 being connected with the bellows portion 19 and the major-diameter cylindrical portion 2 integrally. The rigidity-producing portion 11 enlarges diametrically from the bellows portion 19 toward the major-diameter cylindrical portion 2, and additionally at least an outer peripheral surface 101 of the rigidity-producing portion 11 has a plurality of shoulders 61 in a stepwise manner. By means of the rigidity-producing portion 11, the rigidity at around the major-diameter cylindrical portion is enhanced, and thereby it is possible to suppress deformation at the time of assembling.

    摘要: A disk drive. The disk drive includes a motor, a base to which the motor is affixed, an actuator supporting a head-slider, and an air-flow control component affixed inside the base. The motor is configured to spin a disk. The actuator is configured to access the disk and to rotate about a pivot shaft to move the head-slider. The air-flow control component includes a plate which faces a recording surface of the disk, and a support portion supporting the plate. The thickness of the plate gradually decreases towards an outflow side of the air-flow control component. The bodies of the plate and the support portion are made of resin; and, a surface of the plate is configured to be held at an electrical potential selected from the group consisting of ground potential and a negative potential.
