This gather-folding apparatus forms, by means of both the surfaces of the plate-shaped folding members and the line of the inter support arm, two planes of folded planes sandwiching the line concerned. In this case, since these two planes of folded planes are formed with equal tension, the angle pleated portion can be formed with stability.
