摘要: In a dissimilar material joint structure that joins together an anti vibration bar (first member) 14 and a end cap (second member) 15, which is a dissimilar metal material to the anti vibration bar 14, the anti vibration bar 14 is sandwiched by a plurality of end caps (second members) 151 and 152, and these respective end caps 151 and 152 are joined together by welding. Due to contraction of a weld material 153 welding the end caps 151 and 152, the anti vibration bar 14 is sandwiched between the end caps 151 and 152, whereby the anti vibration bar 14 and the end cap 15 are joined. Consequently, a thermal treatment for welding dissimilar metal materials is not required, and the welding operation can be carried out easily.

摘要: A simulation apparatus and an information storage medium are described which can perform collision decision for a moving object with respect to another displayed object with a reduced the amount of data and the computation load. There are included a decision region defining section (114) which defines a decision region which specifies a three-dimensional space for collision decision based on the entire shape of a target object to be collided or of a portion thereof, and a collision decision section (118) which decides whether a collision has occurred or not, based on whether or non the position of the moving object is located within the decision region. When the decision region defining section (114) defines a negative hit region which specifies a noncollision region as the decision region, and the collision decision section (118) decides that no collision has occurred if the position of the moving object is located within the negative hit region. Further, when the decision region defining section (114) defines a combination of the negative hit region and a positive hit region which specifies a collision region as the decision region, with these hit regions at least partly overlapping one another, then the collision decision section (118) decides whether a collision has occurred or not based on given rules if the position of the moving object is located within the overlapping region.

摘要: The present invention relates to a fuel cell operation method in which a fuel cell 11 that generates power using hydrogen gas and oxidant gas as reaction gas is operated at an operating pressure that corresponds to a required power generation state. A hydrogen sensor 54 that detects hydrogen density is provided in a vicinity of the fuel cell 11, and based on values detected by the hydrogen sensor 54 and on the amount of hydrogen leakage at the current operating pressure and on the characteristics of the fuel cell 11, an operating pressure is predicted at which the hydrogen leakage amount from the fuel cell will not exceed a predetermined value, and the fuel cell 11 is operated while limiting the operating pressure to below the predicted operating pressure.
