    摘要: The present disclosure is related to coated photoconductors. In an example, a coated photoconductor can comprise a photoconductor including a substrate having a charge generation layer and charge transport layer adhered thereto and a top coating adhered to the photoconductor. The top coating can comprise a cross-linkable polymer, a cross-linker, and a polymeric dopant having a weight average molecular weight of less than 500,000. Additionally, the top coating can have a thickness of 0.1 μm to 12 μm and the polymeric dopant can be present in the top coating at a concentration of 0.1 wt % to 10 wt %.

    摘要: The present disclosure is related to coated photoconductors. In an example, a coated photoconductor can comprise a photoconductor including a substrate having a charge generation layer and charge transport layer adhered thereto and a top coating adhered to the photoconductor. The top coating can comprise a cross-linkable polymer, a cross-linker, and a polymeric dopant having a weight average molecular weight of less than 500,000.     摘要: The present invention is drawn to a layered organic device, and a method of forming the same. The method includes steps of applying a first solvent-containing organic layer to a substrate and removing solvent from the first solvent-containing organic layer to form a first solidified organic layer. Additional steps include applying a second solvent-containing organic layer to the first solidified organic layer and removing solvent from the second solvent-containing organic layer to form a second solidified organic layer. The first solidified organic layer can be crosslinked, which suppresses negative impact to components in the first solidified organic layer when the solvent of the second solvent-containing organic layer is deposited on the first solidified organic layer.

    摘要: Nanocrystal-polymer composite materials include nanocrystals chemically attached to molecules of a polymer matrix material by way of a chemical complex or a covalent bond. Electronic devices include an anode, a cathode, and such nanocrystal-polymer composite materials disposed between the anode and the cathode. Methods of chemically attaching each of a plurality of nanocrystals to at least one molecule of a polymer matrix material include coating the nanocrystals with ligands that each include a binding group and a first functional group, providing a polymer material having a second functional group covalently bonded thereto, and reacting the first functional groups with the second functional groups to form covalently bonded links. Additional methods include providing a polymer material having binding groups covalently attached to molecules thereof, providing a plurality of nanocrystals, and forming a chemical complex or a covalent bond between each nanocrystal and a bind group.
