摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide a method of simply producing an ID card which can provide the Id card with character information shared by the same kind of ID cards issued in large numbers, and an ID card which offers improved protection of the gradation image formed on the image-receiving layer and which is difficult to forge or alter.The ID card is characterized in that a transparent resin sheet having character information shared by the same kind of ID cards is provided on the surface of an image-receiving layer which has a gradation image and character-information-bearing image and which has been formed on the support. The method of producing an ID card of the present invention is characterized in that a transparent resin sheet having character information shared by the same kind of ID cards is provided by hot stamping in the gradation image forming region of the image-receiving layer which has a gradation image and character-information-bearing image and which has been formed on the support.

摘要： A method for treating a thermally transferred image is disclosed. The method comprising the steps of (1) thermally transferring an image from the ink layer of a ink sheet which comprises a support and a ink layer comprising a sublimation dye provided on the support, to the surface of an image receiving layer of a image receiving element which comprises a support and a image receiving layer provided on the support, by means of imagewise heating by a first thermal head, and (2) heating the surface of the image receiving layer having the transferred image by a second thermal head through a plastic film contacted to the surface of the image receiving layer.

摘要： An image forming method is disclosed. In the method, an image-forming element comprising a support provided thereon a first layer containing substantially of one or two components selected from three kinds of components, (1) a cobalt (III) complex having an ammonia ligand or a primary amine ligand, (2) a compound capable of being changed in the absorption wavelength thereof by ammonia or primary amine and (3) a compound or a precursor thereof which makes ammonia or primary amine contained in the cobalt (III) complex as a ligand to be easily released from the complex is used, and the method comprises the steps of; imagewise providing the component or components other than the one or two components selected from the three kinds of components contained substantially in the first layer to the first layer according to image-information, and reacting components selected from the three kinds of components contained substantially in the first layer and the component or components other than the one or two components selected from the three kinds of components provided imagewise to the first layer, to form an image.

摘要： An image forming method using a thermal transfer processes and an apparatus used in the method are disclosed. The images were formed on the image receiving layer of a image recording body and includes a gradation information-containing image formed by means of a thermal sublimation transfer method and a character information-containing image formed by means of a thermal fusion transfer method. A trans parent protective layer is transferred from a protective forming thermal transfer sheet to the surface of image receiving layer so as to cover the whole area of the image receiving layer by a hot stamping means. The hot stamping means has a heating roll which has a contacting length longer than the width of said image receiving layer and a peripheral length longer than the length of said image receiving layer.
