    摘要: Provided is a low-cost, highly responsive, and highly durable thermistor material for use in a reducing atmosphere, with which temperature can be measured even under a reducing atmosphere such as a hydrogen gas atmosphere or in a vacuum without the thermistor material being sealed with a glass seal or a metal tube. The thermistor material includes a matrix material made of an insulating ceramic and a non-oxide conductive material, and conductive particles are dispersed around the matrix material to thereby form a conductive path. The conductive particles are preferably dispersed in a network structure around the matrix material. Further, the conductive particles are preferably dispersed discontinuously around the matrix material.

    摘要: A temperature sensing element includes a thermistor composed of Si-base ceramics and a pair of metal electrodes bonded onto the surfaces of the thermistor. The metal electrodes contain Cr and a metal element α having a Si diffusion coefficient higher than that of Cr. A diffusion layer is formed in a bonding interface between the thermistor and each metal electrode, the diffusion layer including a silicide of the metal element α in a crystal grain boundary of the Si-base ceramics. A temperature sensor including the diffusion layers is provided. Owing to the diffusion layers, the temperature sensor ensures heat resistance and bonding reliability and enables temperature detection with high accuracy in a temperature range, in particular, of from −50° C. to 1050° C.

    摘要: A vehicle environment recognition system comprises an input section for forming an input electronic image of a forward road ahead of a vehicle, and an image processing section for detecting another vehicle ahead or a configuration of the forward road from the image. The processing section prepares a set of integrand images from two or more input images, and produces a new integral image by superposing the integrand images. From information supplied from the input section, the processing section detects a lateral position of the vehicle relative to the road, and adjusts the lateral positions of the integrand images in accordance with the detected lateral vehicle position before the integration to produce the integral image. The recognition system can therefore integrate images without undesirable lateral deviation and detects an object region accurately from the integral image.
