    Abstract: A heat exchanger of the present disclosure includes a plurality of front refrigerant tubes through which a refrigerant flows and that extends in a first direction, a plurality of rear refrigerant tubes through which a refrigerant flows and that extends in the first direction and is spaced apart from the plurality of front refrigerant tubes in a second direction crossing the first direction, fins that are disposed between the plurality of front refrigerant tubes and the plurality of rear refrigerant tubes to conduct heat and that extend in a third direction crossing the first direction and the second direction, a pair of front headers that is connected with both ends of the plurality of front refrigerant tubes and supplies a refrigerant, and a pair of rear headers that is connected with both ends of the plurality of rear refrigerant tubes and supplies a refrigerant, wherein the front headers and the rear headers extend in a direction parallel with the third direction.

    Abstract: An air conditioner and evaporator inlet header distributor therefor are provided. The air conditioner may include an evaporator inlet header distributor to distribute a refrigerant expanded in an expansion mechanism to a plurality of refrigerant flow paths of an evaporator. The evaporator inlet header distributor may include a distributor body, a refrigerant inlet pipe to guide refrigerant expanded in the expansion mechanism to an inside of the distributor body, a plurality of refrigerant outlet pipes to discharge the refrigerant from the distributor body into the plurality of refrigerant flow paths, and a separating plate to separate the inside of the distributor body into a header flow path connected with the plurality of refrigerant outlet pipes and a refrigerant dispersing flow path connected with the refrigerant inlet pipe to guide an upper portion and a lower portion of the header flow path by dispersing the refrigerant. Accordingly, two-phase refrigerant may be uniformly distributed to the plurality of refrigerant outlet pipes using a simple structure.

    Abstract: An air conditioner and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The air conditioner includes an indoor heat exchanger and an outdoor heat exchanger, each including a plurality of refrigerant pipes and at least one connection pipe for interconnecting the refrigerant pipes, a brazing hole formed in the connection pipe by punching, and a brazing ring mounted over the brazing hole, wherein portions of the refrigerant pipes are inserted into the connection pipe through inlet ends of the connection pipe, the brazing hole is located between ends of the refrigerant pipes and the inlet ends of the connection pipe, and the connection pipe is bonded to the refrigerant pipes by heating at least one selected from between the refrigerant pipes and the brazing ring.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger may include flat tubes formed of a microchannel type, and first and second fins positioned at a top and bottom of the flat tubes so as to conduct the heat of the flat tubes. The first and second fins may be respectively provided with first and second condensate water discharge fins at a top and bottom. The second condensate water discharge fins of the first fins and the first condensate water discharge fins of the second fins may come into contact, and the second condensate water discharge fins of the first fins and the first condensate water discharge fins of the second fins may be disposed in a line with respect to a vertical direction, thereby having an advantage of quickly transferring condensate water formed at the top to the bottom.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. With the method, a tube may be inserted into a through hole formed in at least one fin coated with a filler metal, and the tube and a fin collar of the at least one fin may be joined through the filler metal by a brazing processing. A flange may not be formed on or at a top of the at least one fin collar, which protrudes vertically from a central longitudinal plane of the at least one fin. The tube may be made of aluminum (Al), and an interval between an outer circumferential surface of the tube and an inner circumferential surface of the fin collar of the at least one fin may be approximately 0.1 mm or less. Accordingly, contact resistance occurring when fabricating a fin-tube heat exchanger using a mechanical tube expansion method may be reduced, and heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger may be improved because grooves formed within the tube may not be deformed.
