摘要： A cleaning system is provided comprising a sealable container housing a saturated stack of durable fine spunbond fiber cleaning sheets; the cleaning sheets have an average fiber diameter less than 18 micrometers, a tensile strength of at least 140-g/g/m2 and a basis weight between about 15 g/m2 and 85 g/m2. The cleaning sheets can be provided in stacked form and maintained within a sealed container wherein liquid is retained within the individual sheets as well as throughout the stack over time. The sheets can subsequently be removed from the container and applied to a surface wherein a high percent of the liquid is released from the sheet onto the surface in the initial pass and thereby allowing for improved treatment and/or cleaning of the surface.

摘要： The present invention relates to a cleaning implement formed from spunbond fiber webs having a basis weight less than about 85 grams per square meter and wherein the fibers comprise macrofibers having an average fiber diameter greater than 50 microns and less than about 500 microns. A section of macrofiber web having a mass between about 10 and 30 grams is bundled into a deformable three-dimensional shape which is about 8 to 25 cm in at least one dimension. The cleaning implement is particularly well suited for use in conjunction with shower gels or soaps for washing the body.

摘要： There is provided a wiper comprising a first web of fibers of at most 50 microns in diameter wherein said web has been bonded using a point unbonded pattern having a bond area between about 25 and 50 percent. The wiper can be made from thermoplastic polymer nonwoven fibers made by the meltblowing, spunbonding, carding and bonding, or airlaying processes. The wiper may be a laminate of various thermoplastic layers joined with the point unbonded pattern and may be a coform web of thermoplastic polymer and pulp or other material.

摘要： There is provided a laminate of nonwoven fabrics for outdoor applications which has good resistance to ultraviolet light. The laminate has two meltblown layers sandwiched between spunbond layers to produce an SMMS laminate. The layers have a large amount of a UV stabilizer and metal oxide pigments. Such laminates are useful for car covers, awnings and canopies, etc. When the laminate is used as a car cover, it is preferred to skew the basis weights of the outer layers so that the layer against the car is significantly lighter than the other outer layer and to reduce the denier of the fibers in the layer against the car.

摘要： An elastic composite that contains an elastic film laminated to one or more nonwoven materials is provided. By selectively controlling the constituents of the composite and the method by which it is formed, the present inventors have discovered that the composite may be resistant to oils and other skin care compositions. More specifically, the elastic film is formed from one or more low density semi-crystalline propylene-based polymers that possess a unique combination of mechanical, elastic, and oil-resistant properties. By using such elastomeric polymers, the resulting elastic film may also be thermally bonded to the nonwoven web material(s) without the need for oil-resistant adhesives. Further, the bonding conditions may be selected so that apertures do not form in the film. In this manner, the resulting composite is impervious to oils or other liquids (e.g., solvents, water, solutions, etc.) and thus acts as a barrier during use.

摘要： Absorbent, multilayer cleaning fabrics are provided which have (i) a porous, abrasion resistant liquid pervious top layer, (ii) a liquid impervious bottom layer, and (iii) an absorbent mat sealed between the top and bottom layers. The top and/or bottom layers form highly flexible tabs that extend beyond the absorbent mat and allow the cleaning fabric to be easily attached and removed from a cleaning tool having fasteners. The multilayer cleaning fabrics are well suited for wiping wet surfaces and/or cleaning surfaces with soap and water or other liquid cleaners.
