Abstract:
Signal distortions are avoided without the assistance of external component parts in an integrated circuit arrangement for voltage control of the gain of a field effect transistor having at least first and second gate electrodes. The first gate electrode forms the signal input and the second gate electrode forms the DC voltage control input. An integrated control circuit arrangement is provided which sets the voltage at the first gate electrode of the field effect transistor dependent on a variable voltage at the second gate electrode thereof, whereby the source potential remains unaltered.
Abstract:
The bandpass filter has a comparatively large pass bandwidth, with, at the same time, comparatively steep edges up to the stop band and low attenuation in the passband. The bandpass filter contains three parallel LC elements, one of which is connected between the bandpass filter input and the bandpass filter output. The other two parallel LC elements each have one of their connections coupled to a fixed reference-ground potential.

An integratable circuit configuration for stabilizing an operating point of a transistor by negative feedback includes first, second, third and fourth terminals. The fourth terminal is connected to a fixed ground potential, and the first and fourth terminals have a supply voltage source connected therebetween. A first transistor to be stabilized by negative feedback has a collector connected to the second terminal, an emitter connected to the fourth terminal, and a base connected to the third terminal. A second transistor has an emitter connected to the second terminal, a collector connected to the third terminal, and a base. A first resistor is connected between the first terminal and the second terminal. A second resistor is connected between the base of the second transistor and the fourth terminal. A series circuit has at least one first diode and one second diode and is connected between the first terminal and the base of the second transistor.
Abstract:
An RF power amplifier circuit and input power limiter circuits are disclosed. A power detector generates a voltage output proportional to a power level of an input signal. There is a directional coupler with a first port connected to a transmit signal input, a second port connected to the input matching network, and a third port connected to the power detector. A first power amplifier stage with an input is connected to the input matching network and an output is connected to the transmit signal output. A control circuit connected to the power detector generates a gain reduction signal based upon a comparison of the voltage output from the power detector to predefined voltage levels corresponding to specific power levels of the input signal. Overall gain of the RF power amplifier circuit is reduced based upon the gain reduction signal that adjusts the configurations of the circuit components.
Abstract:
A circuit configuration is configured such that selectively a first amplifier or a second amplifier amplifies signals. The second amplifier is operated depending on the conditions established at the input terminal of the first amplifier. A switching element has a controlled path connected to an input terminal of the second amplifier. The switching state of the switching element can be controlled by the input terminal of the first amplifier. As a result, it is possible to effect the changeover between the amplifiers with minimal outlay and without disturbing the amplifiers.

Abstract:
The multiple preamplifier circuit for a television tuner has at least one first band with an amplification stage and a second band with an amplification stage. The amplification stage of the first band and the amplification stage of the second band are commonly integrated in a common chip for both bands. The band switching signal and an amplification control signal are applied directly to the common chip.
