    摘要: Compatibilized blends of polypropylene, linear low density polyethylene and a low molecular weight plastomer are disclosed. The blend preferably contains at least about 50 percent by weight of crystalline polypropylene, from about 10 to about 50 percent by weight of LLDPE dispersed in a matrix of the polypropylene, and a compatibilizing amount of an ethylene/alpha-olefin plastomer having a weight average molecular weight between about 5,000 to about 50,000, a density of less than about 0.90 g/cm.sup.3, and a melt index of at least about 50 dg/min. The blend is useful in the formation of melt spun and melt blown fibers. Also disclosed are spun bonded-melt blown-spun bonded fabrics made from the blends.

    摘要: Provided is a heat-seal resin. The resin includes 5 wt % to 95 wt % of a first copolymer and 95 wt % to 5 wt % of a second copolymer based on the total weight of the resin. The first copolymer and the second copolymer together are 90 wt % or more of the total weight of the resin. The first copolymer includes a first monomer of an alphaolefin of 2 to 4 carbon atoms and a second monomer selected from a second monomer of an alphaolefin of 2 to 8 carbon atoms. The first monomer and the second monomer of the first copolymer are different. The first copolymer has an MFR of from 5 to 1000 g/10 minutes and a Tfm of 66° C. to 80° C. The second copolymer includes a first monomer of an alphaolefin of 2 to 4 carbon atoms and a second monomer selected from a second monomer of an alphaolefin of 2 to 8 carbon atoms. The first monomer and the second monomer of the second copolymer are different. The second copolymer has an MFR of from 0.5 to 5 g/10 minutes and a Tfm of 45° C. to 66° C., wherein the first copolymer has an MFR of at least 2 g/10 minutes greater and a Tfm of at least 10° C. greater than the second copolymer.     摘要: Disclosed are hot melt adhesives comprising ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymers prepared with either supported or unsupported metallocene-alumoxane catalysts for applications in hot melt adhesives used in automotive product assembly, packaging and food packaging. These ethylene copolymers have weight average molecular weight ranging from about 20,000 to about 100,000 and comonomer weight percent ranging from about 6 to about 30. The hot melt adhesive composition includes the ethylene copolymer and a compatible tackifier at a ratio of tackifier to copolymer of from 70:30 to 30:70 and may also include up to 30 weight percent of a paraffinic and microcrystalline wax of the copolymer and tackifier.
