Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic silicone-polyurethane elastomer and a method for preparing the same. The elastomer is prepared from raw materials comprising: 25-80 parts of a macromolecular polyol, 0-60 parts of a silicone oil or a liquid silicone rubber, 10-50 parts of a diisocyanate, 3-20 parts of a small molecular diol as a chain extender, and 0.1-3 parts of an auxiliary agent. The macromolecular polyol is selected from a silicon-free polyol having a molecular weight of between 1,000 and 4,000 g/mol and a polyol modified by silicone through copolymerization or grafting. The small molecular diol is a small molecular diol comprising 10 or less carbon atoms. The thermoplastic silicone-polyurethane elastomer of the present invention has the following excellent performance parameters: a hardness of Shore A40-D80; a tensile strength ≥5 MPa; smooth hand feeling; resistance to dirt such as dust; resistance to liquid permeation; no irritation to skin; good encapsulation effect on PC, ABS, TPU and the like; and a 180° peel strength >25 N/25 mm.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a foamed thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer product, comprising the steps of: 1) coating a binder: coating the binder on the surfaces of expandable thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer particles; 2) curing and molding: adding the product obtained from step 1) to a mold and then placing it in a vulcanizing machine for curing and molding; and 3) cooling and setting: cooling the mold after the molding in step 2) to obtain the product of the present invention. By means of pre-coating the binder on the surfaces of expanded thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer particles according to the present invention, the weight of the binder can be reduced, and the properties of the expanded thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer particles can be utilized to the maximum extent.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an extruded expanded thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer bead and a preparation method therefor. The bead consists of components of the following parts by weight: 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, 0.01-0.5 parts of a foaming nucleating agent, and 0.01-0.2 parts by weight of an antioxidant. The preparation method comprises: mixing materials, then putting the mixture into an extruder for granulation to produce a particle raw material suitable for foaming, finally, putting the particle into a foam extruder, and die foaming then underwater pelletizing, thus obtaining a product bead. The present invention utilizes an extrusion method to prepare expanded thermoplastic polyurethane beads. Control of the working conditions of the foaming process could lead to acquiring an expanded=bead of a controllable density, the cell density evenly distribute. The overall production process is easy to operate. Without any special limit or requirement placed on the equipment, this method is suitable for industrial continuous production.

Abstract: The present invention relates to expanded thermoplastic polyurethane beads, a preparation method for same, and an application thereof. The expanded thermoplastic polyurethane beads consists of components of the following parts by weight: 100 parts of a thermoplastic polyurethane, 1-10 parts of a cell size stabilizer, and 1-35 parts of a melt viscosity modifier. The preparation method for the expanded thermoplastic polyurethane beads is also disclosed. The bead is produced by employing a volatile blowing agent to immerse the thermoplastic polyurethane, comprising the pore size stabilizer and the melt viscosity modifier, in an aqueous suspension, and is then followed by the foaming process. Utilization of the expanded thermoplastic polyurethane beads of the present invention allows for preparation of a foam product. The expanded thermoplastic polyurethane beads prepared per the present invention has uniform cell sizes and a high product yield. At the same time, the expanded thermoplastic polyurethane bead provides a great sintering performance even at a relatively low vapor pressure, a molded foam product has a small deformation, a low dimensional shrinkage ratio relative to a mold, great dimensional stability, and an aesthetically appealing appearance.

Abstract: A thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foam product with high flatness, and a preparation method and a use thereof are provided. The TPU foam product is prepared by processing aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethane (ATPU) beads with a melting range of 20° C. to 50° C. and a melting point of 90° C. to 160° C. by a physical gas foaming process to obtain foamed ATPU beads and heating the foamed ATPU beads with a heat source to make the foamed ATPU beads fused. The TPU foam product with high flatness has a density of 0.08 g/cm3 to 0.8 g/cm3 and a flatness value of less than 2 mm, and the flatness value is determined by a fixed-length ruler. The TPU foam product not only has high flatness such that diversified designs are allowed for a surface of the product, but also has high resilience.
