    摘要: In a non-machining method for manufacturing a solid-bottomed or internally flanged bearing race, especially for rolling contact bearings, the starting material is in the form of a band. For the economical manufacture of this bearing race with an annular groove of extremely precise cross-sectional shape which reduces the wall thickness of the bearing race, and which is situated at the transition from the bottom or flange portion to the race portion, a flat roundel is first stamped from the band. Then a concentric annular groove is worked into one of the planar surfaces of the roundel, while the opposite planar surface thereof is supported on a planar supporting surface. Lastly, the roundel is deep-drawn in a die to form a bearing race having a solid bottom. The end face of the drawing punch concentrically engages the roundel's planar surface that is encompassed by the annular groove. This end face has a diameter that is equal to or greater than the diameter of the radially inner edge of the annular grooves and smaller than the diameter of the radially outer edge of the annular groove.

    摘要: A worm gear has a threaded spindle and a threaded nut, the thread on the spindle or the nut or on both having a profile such that the transition regions connecting the thread crown surface to the thread flanks are rounded, as is the crown surface itself. Further, the spindle thread and nut thread are intermeshed with axial and radial play such that radial forces exerted under torque loading are transmitted only by areas of the crown surface, which transmitted forces are supported by the respective areas of the opposing groove bottom. Smooth functioning is ensured even when the threaded spindle occupies a position of maximum inclination relative to the nut.

    摘要: A process for mounting an outer bearing ring involves press fitting a stamp into the outer ring so that the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring assumes the shape of the stamp. Using the stamp, the outer ring is then press fitted into the recess of a machine part so that the contour of the external peripheral surface of the outer ring is plastically molded through axial stretching into the machine part. To mount an inner ring, a stamp with a bore is press fitted onto the inner ring so that the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring pressing against the stamp assumes the shape of the bore of the stamp. Using the stamp, the inner ring is then press fitted onto the machine part and the contour of the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring is plastically molded through axial flow forming into the machine part.
