    摘要: A low profile electrical plug includes a support plate formed from a rigid, nonconductive material such as a printed circuit board. Prongs extend perpendicularly from a face of the support plate and are oriented for insertion into a conventional electrical outlet. The prongs are adapted to snap into reciprocal apertures in the support plate during assembly. Paths of electrically conductive material are disposed on a face of the support plate and extend between the prongs and terminals formed in the edge of the support plate. A power cord has electrical conductors electrically connected to different ones of the prongs to provide an electrical connection to a remote device. For this purpose, each power cord conductor includes a connector adapted slide over one of the terminals and electrically contact a respective conductive path. The integral assembly of the power cord, support plate and prongs is molded in a nonconductive housing. The prongs exit perpendicularly from a flat face on the housing and the cord exits the housing generally parallel to the flat face. A handle is connected to the housing to facilitate removal of the plug from an outlet. In one embodiment, the handle pivots away from the housing to facilitate grasping. In another embodiment, the stretchable handle is fixedly secured to the housing.

Each of the trailing arms includes a drive shaft bearing. A CV joint pivot arm is pivotally connected to the chassis. A CV joint housing is connected to the CV joint pivot arm. The CV joint housing includes a CV joint bearing. A CV joint is housed inside the CV joint housing and is supported by the CV joint bearing. A drive shaft extends through the CV joint and rigidly connected to the CV joint. The drive shaft is further supported by each of the drive shaft bearings attached to the trailing arms. A shock absorption system is connected between the drive shaft and the chassis. In a preferred embodiment, a cross bar is connected between the trailing arms for stability. Also, preferably, the rear suspension system includes a sway bar and linear shock absorbers acting in combination to provide optimum suspension.

    摘要: A low profile rotatable electrical plug includes a housing and a set of conductive prongs positioned on one face of the housing for insertion into a conventional wall outlet. A power cord exits the housing in a direction generally perpendicular to the prongs such that the cord parallels the wall when the plug is inserted into a wall outlet. A rotative coupling device mounted within the housing provides a rotative electrical connection between the power cord and the prongs. The rotative coupling device includes first and second sets of conductors carried by respective conductor support plates. The conductors in the first support plate are electrically connected to respective conductors in the power cord, and the conductors in the second support plate are electrically connected to respective prongs. The first support plate is fixedly mounted within the housing and the second support rotates within the housing relative to the first support plate. The prongs extend from the second support plate and through an aperture in the housing for rotation relative to the cord. The plug further includes structure for releasably locking the position of the power cord with respect to the prongs.
