    摘要: The present invention relates to a color-former having microcapsules which comprise an electron-donating colorless dye dispersed in a hydrophobic liquid. The present invention provides a color-former using both an electron-donating colorless dye and a hydrophobic liquid which previously were unable to be used because of the lack of solubility. A uniform and stable dispersion of electron-donating colorless dye in a hydrophobic core liquid is prepared by using oil-soluble non-ionic surfactant.

    摘要: Continuous fermentation with yeast to produce alcohol is carried out by continuously passing a carbohydrate-containing substrate liquid through a vessel packed with a thin film means having yeast immobilized therein. Surfaces of the thin film means extend in the direction of flow within the vessel to provide elongated parallel passages. The thin film means occupies from 10 to 65% of the volume of the vessel and preferably has a thickness of 0.1 to 3 mm. Preferably, the thin film means is formed by mixing an aqueous yeast suspension with a photo-crosslinkable resin and subjecting the mixture to radiation to photo-crosslink the resin.

    摘要: A method of producing rice cybrid cells includes the steps of irradiating with X-rays to first rice protoplasts containing a first useful gene in the cytoplasm thereof to selectively destroy the nuclei thereof only; treating second rice protoplasts containing a second useful gene in the nucleus thereof with about 10 - 30 mM of iodoacetamide, about 0.1 - 0.5 mM Rhodamine 6G or about 10 - 30 mM iodoacetate to selectively deactivate the cytoplasm; and fusing the treated first and second protoplasts to form cybrid cells which have only the nucleus containing the first useful gene and have only the cytoplasm containing the second useful gene.
