The modified MHDPE is a dicarboxylic acid-modified material having a melt mass flow rate value (190° C.: JIS K 7210) of about 0.01 to 0.9 g/10min. The interlayer adherability between the EVOH layer 14 and the modified MHDPE layer 16 is maintained while maintaining the anti-fuel permeability and the flexibility of the fuel tube 12.
