摘要： A sheet rolling method uses a rolling mill (10) for rolling a sheet (x). The rolling mill (10) includes upper and lower backup rolls (13, 14), and a pair of work rolls (11, 12) respectively having different diameters and disposed between the upper and the lower backup roll (13, 14). A small-diameter work roll (11) of the pair of work rolls is disposed so that a rotational axis thereof is positioned on a mill center or a downstream side with respect to the mill center in a rolling direction, and the large-diameter work roll (12) is disposed so that a rotational axis thereof is positioned on a downstream side with respect to the rotational axis of the small-diameter work roll (11) in the rolling direction. Thus, mechanical load on the work rolls (11, 12) can be reduced even when a high rolling force is necessary for rolling a wide sheet.

摘要： The hot rolling apparatus of the present invention has a mill arranged on the preceding stage, mills of a plurality of stands arranged on the later stage which are different-diameter roll mills including a pair of different-diameter work rolls having an equivalent roll diameter of less than 600 mm or minimum-diameter roll mills including a pair of work rolls having a diameter of less than 600 mm, and a cooling unit for cooling steel to be rolled which is arranged on each exit side of the mills of at least two stands on the later stage. The hot rolling apparatus can smoothly manufacture hot rolled plates of fine-particle steel.

摘要： A continuous hot-rolling mill includes an upper rolling unit including a plurality of rolling stands, and a lower rolling unit including a plurality of rolling stands and disposed downstream with respect to the upper rolling unit in a workpiece passing direction in which a workpiece to be rolled is passed. The two or more rolling stands of the lower rolling unit are differential or very-small-diameter rolling stands. Each of the two or more differential or very-small-diameter rolling stands of the lower rolling unit is provided with a drive motor having a capacity greater than that of any one of drive motors included in the rolling stands disposed upstream the differential or very-small-diameter rolling stands. The continuous hot-rolling mill is suitable for producing hot-rolled, fine-grained steel sheets and is excellent in sheet passing abilities for preventing the steel sheet from meandering and for rolling the steel sheet in a desired shape.

摘要： When grooves 44, 45A and 45B of an armature 42 and a rotor 43 are formed by laser beam machining, a metal oxide layer 100 is formed on wall surfaces defining the grooves 44, 45A and 45B. The metal oxide layer 100 is brought into sliding contact with a first contact surface A1 to a fourth contact surface A4 in a process in which an electromagnetic clutch is used, so that a part of the metal oxide layer 100 is ground and peeled off, whereby particles made of a metal oxide are produced. The particles enter the contact surface between the armature 42 and the rotor 43, which increases the frictional force therebetween to thereby prevent slippage. As a result, the torque transmission capability of the electromagnetic clutch M is enhanced, and the increase in the torque of a scroll compressor is achieved.

摘要： Provided are a tripod constant velocity joint, and a method and a device for assembling the joint. The opening of a through-hole formed in an inner member of the tripod constant velocity joint has formed therein a tapered, reduced diameter section having a diameter tapered from the opening toward the inside. A first annular groove is formed in the side wall of a driving power transmission shaft, and a clip serving as an engaging member is engaged with the first annular groove. A second annular groove is formed in the inner wall of the through-hole in the inner member. In inserting the driving power transmission shaft through the through-hole in the inner member, the tapered, reduced diameter section guides the shaft in such a manner that the clip is contracted toward the bottom surface of the first annular groove. The clip expands and contracts due to the elasticity thereof when the positions of the first annular groove and the second annular groove coincide with each other.
