    摘要: A push switch includes a case made of insulating resin including a plate-like portion shaped substantially like a plate, a first fixed contact exposed at a first surface of the plate-like portion of the case, a second fixed contact exposed at the first surface of the plate-like portion of the case, and a movable contact which electrically connects and disconnects the first fixed contact to the second fixed contact. A first metal member including the first fixed contact further includes a first terminal exposed outside the case, and a first middle portion exposed at a second surface of the plate-like portion of the case, the first middle portion connecting the first fixed contact to the first terminal. A second metal member including the second fixed contact further includes a second terminal exposed outside the case, and a second middle portion for connecting the second fixed contact to the second terminal. The push switch is thin despite the middle portion between the fixed contact and the terminal secured in the portion underneath the recess of the case.

    摘要: A push-on switch includes a casing made of insulating material and having an inner bottom surface. First fixed contacts are provided on the inner bottom surface of the casing. Second fixed contacts are provided on the inner bottom surface of the casing. Movable contacts have base portions and resilient contact arms. The base portions are placed on and electrically connected to the first fixed contacts respectively. The resilient contact arms extend from the base portions to regions above the second fixed contacts respectively. A dome-shaped spring member made of resilient insulating material has a top portion, a conical portion, and a lower end. The top portion and the lower end are connected by the conical portion. The lower end is placed on the base portions of the movable contacts. The top portion has a lower surface located above free ends of the resilient contact arms of the movable contacts. A lid member fixed to the casing has a hole through which the top portion of the dome-shaped spring member extends. The lid member presses the lower end of the dome-shaped spring member against the base portions of the movable contacts. As the top portion of the dome-shaped spring member is depressed, the dome-shaped spring member brings the resilient contact arms into contact with the second fixed contacts respectively.

The movable contact includes an elastic metal base having a dome-shape and having a concave surface spaced from the first stationary contact and an outer rim mounted on the second stationary contact, a nickel plated layer provided on the concave surface of the elastic metal base and having a thickness ranging from 0.05 μm to 0.5 μm, a copper plated layer provided on the nickel plated layer and having a thickness ranging from 0.05 μm to 0.7 μm, and a silver plated layer provided on the copper plated layer and having a thickness ranging from 0.1 μm to 2 μm. The push-button switch has a long operating life time, has a stable contact resistance, and is inexpensive.

    摘要: A flange section presses a tip of one of four elastic arms upon tilting of a controlling unit formed of a stick and the flange section. The pressed elastic arm operates one of individual-switches disposed at four corners of a switch case. Each elastic arm extends from each side of the quadrangular switch case to at least a middle point of a side, which is adjacent and parallel to the arm. Using this structure, a four-directional control switch, which can effectively use a space in an electronic apparatus, can be obtained.

    摘要: An optical system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a reflective imaging element having a first principal face which is struck by light emitted from a display panel, a second principal face parallel to the first principal face, and two mutually-orthogonal specular elements being perpendicular to the first principal face, and causes an image displayed on a display surface of the display panel to form an image at a position of planar symmetry with respect to the reflective imaging element as a plane of symmetry. A transparent substrate which is disposed on at least either the first principal face side or the second principal face side of the reflective imaging element is further included, and first light striking the transparent substrate is linearly polarized light, with a large proportion of p-polarized light.

    摘要: A direct-viewing type display device 100A includes: a display panel which has a display region 10A and a frame region 10F provided outside the display region; and a light-transmitting cover 20 provided on a viewer's side of the display panel. The light-transmitting cover includes a lens portion 22 positioned so as to overlap a region that includes part of the frame region of the display panel and part of a peripheral display region 10D within the display region which adjoins the part of the frame region. The display device further includes a housing 30 which has a housing portion 36 provided at least on a side surface 10b of the display panel. Part of light going out from the part of the peripheral display region and/or part of light entering the housing portion on a rear side goes out on a viewer's side of the housing portion 36. According to the present invention, a direct-viewing type display device is provided which includes a sole display panel and in which the frame is visually obscured.
