The system includes a plurality of ports, valves connected thereto and a number of garments having one or more bladders.     摘要: A compression treatment system is provided that includes a first bladder supported about a limb. A second bladder is supported about the limb. The bladders are in fluid communication with a fluid source and the bladders are inflated such that the first bladder is inflated for a first time period and the second bladder is inflated for a second time period. The second time period is initiated within the first time period. A single pressure sensor communicates with the first bladder and the second bladder.

The first and second die members include opposing respective first and second perimeter-welding electrodes and opposing respective first and second tube-welding electrodes. A single source of high frequency energy is electrically connected to the perimeter-welding electrodes and to the tube-welding electrodes.     摘要: A system for subatmospheric pressure therapy in connection with healing a surgical or chronic wound includes a wound dressing adapted for positioning relative to a wound bed of a subject and a subatmospheric pressure mechanism. The subatmospheric pressure mechanism includes a housing; a vacuum source disposed in the housing and associated with a vacuum port; a collection canister defining an internal chamber in fluid communication with the vacuum source through the vacuum port and with the wound dressing for collecting exudates removed from the wound bed under influence of the vacuum source; a hydrophobic filter in fluid communication with the vacuum source and the internal chamber of the collection canister; and a screen disposed proximally of the filter. The filter is adapted to prevent exudates from reaching the vacuum source while allowing passage of air to the vacuum source. The screen includes compounds for cleaving proteins in the exudates to prevent clogging of the filter by the exudates in the collection canister.
