    摘要: A safety switch for reliably switching off a dangerous device has an actuator which can be moved between a first position and at least one second position. It also has a detector for detecting the actuator in at least one of the said positions. The detector comprises a transponder with an individual transponder identification and a reading unit for reading out the transponder identification. The transponder and the reading unit are arranged relative to one another such that the reading unit is capable of reading out the transponder in the first position of the actuator but not in its second position.

    摘要: A sub-miniature fuse having a fusible conductor which will fuse under an over-current condition within a pressure-tight chamber. A metal surface is positioned near the fusible conductor within the chamber and is formed and positioned relative to the fusible conductor so that during the switching off of the fuse, any arc created between the fused ends jumps over to the metal surface. Thus, at least one secondary arc is created which burns against the metal surface as a shunt line. By melting a part of the metal surface, sufficient heat is absorbed that the secondary arc is quenched.

    摘要: A method of treating articles having a textile surface (such as broadloom carpets or carpet tiles) with a stainblocker composition is disclosed.A pile surface structure having pile elements containing nylon yarns having both acid dyeability and cationic dyeability is dyed with both acid dye and cationic dye and then passed through a hot stainblocker treatment bath and a cooling zone. Substantially the entire height of each pile element is coated with a stainblocker composition whereby the pile surface structure has a stain resistance of 9 or higher on the AATCC Red 40 Stain Scale. The resulting pile surface has good color separation and stability, and no color loss from the catatonically dyeable yarns.

    摘要: An electrical fuse having an insulator, through which a cavity extends from one end to the facing end and which has a cross-sectionally square or rectangular casing part, is further developed in such a way that in the case of easy manufacture a reliable sealing of the cavity openings and a reliable fixing of the fuse element ends, as well as the connections or terminals to the end portions of the insulator are ensured, particularly in such a way that connections projecting over the insulator profile are avoided. For this purpose the insulator has on at least one side an offset end portion of constant cross-section. The fuse is in each case provided with a solder coating at least covering the ends of the end portions, has electrical connections and also a fuse element, which passes through the cavity and whose ends are in each case conductively connected to the electrical connections. There is also a metal coating, which is directly applied in firmly adhering manner at least to the ends of the end portions of the insulator and to which is fixed the solder coating.

    摘要: An electrical fuse comprises a fusible conductor welded or bonded onto separated contact surfaces. The fusible conductor is coated with a metal, selected solely for optimum welding or bonding to contact zones of the contact surfaces. The metallic coating of the fusible conductor is then removed at the fusible portion of the coated fusible conductor by etching after the fusible conductor is welded or bonded to the contact surfaces the contact zones surrounding the point of contact protected by a resin cover resistant to the etchant. The electrical characteristic of the fuse is thus determined solely by the core wire and its properties. The resin cover in the contact zones is preserved between the fusible conductor and each contact surface for improved safety against cracks or micro-cracks and their possible adverse effects.
