    摘要: The invention relates to a spot-type disc brake for automotive vehicle with a floating caliper (2) displaceably borne on a vehicle-fixed brake support (1) and bridging a brake disc as well as brake pads (7,8) arranged on both sides of the brake disc, where the brake pads (7,8) are axially displaceably guided in the brake support (1). To achieve a particularly radially rattle-free fixation of the brake pads (7,8) as well as the floating caliper (2) on the brake support (1), it is provided to support the floating caliper (2) on its, with respect to the vehicle, outside on the brake support (1) through the outer brake pad (7). To this end, the outer brake pad (7) is radially locked on the brake support (1), and the outer brake pad (7) itself on the corresponding housing leg (13).

    摘要: A caliper for a disc-brake includes two side walls at a distance from each other which delimit a space to accommodate a portion of a brake disc. The side walls are connected to each other by a connecting structure which straddles the disc space. Each of the side walls delimits at least one seating capable of accommodating a pad. The caliper comprises a thrust to clamp the pads against the brake disc. The thrust is secured to the side walls in such a way that the side walls absorb the entire clamping force and the seatings are capable of securing the pads so that the side walls also absorb the entire braking moment. The connecting structure comprises arc-shaped shells, connected so as to be integral with both the side walls. The slenderness of the shells expressed as the ratio of thickness to circumferential extension relative to an axis of rotation of the brake disc is less than 17/100.

    摘要: An arrangement for bearing a non-driven wheel in an automotive vehicle or the like, includes a carrier unit, a wheel hub and an anti-friction bearing.The arrangement provides thatthe wheel hub (1) is integrally formed with a trunnion;a one-piece or bipartite inner ring (2a) of the anti-friction bearing (2) is secured to the trunnion (1a), andan axle body (3) having a bore (3a) for accommodating an outer ring (2b) of the anti-friction bearing (2) is provided as the carrier unit.As the outer ring of the anti-friction bearing is arranged directly in the axle body (3), no screw operation is any longer required for securing the bearing means to the vehicle. As the inner ring is secured to the trunnion (1a) of the wheel hub (1) by roll rivets, there is no need for the otherwise required bearing adjustment during final assembly. The measures according to the invention involve the advantage that the number of components and also the efforts to be taken in the final assembly are decreased.
