    摘要: A holographic process is provided for recording-reading by means of index strata in the volume of a photoexcitable storage medium. This process consists in causing two beams to interfere in this medium during two successive writing steps by using writing radiations of different wavelengths. The reading of this medium is then effected by means of a third coherent radiation having for wave vector in the medium a linear combination of the wave vectors of said writing radiations.

    摘要: The hydrophone has an interferometer structure incorporating a measuring arm in which is provided a very long monomodal optical fibre immersed in the interaction medium in which is propagated the acoustic wave. A phase displacement is induced on the optical wave by the elastooptical effect and said wave is propagated in the fibre by the acoustic wave which creates an acoustic pressure field in the medium. A reference arm establishes a reference optical path and the phase displacement linked with the acoustic wave is detected by interferometry between the two optical waves emerging from the two arms. The optical connections between the source, the optical fibre immersed in the interaction medium, the reference arm and the detector being provided in guided optics in a compact structure.

    摘要: A miniature optical source which includes at least one thin film of active laser materials having, in addition, non-linear properties. A pump laser for emitting a beam of a wavelength allowing for the pumping of the thin film of active laser material perpendicularly to the plane of the thin film. Also, an optical cavity constituted by two mirrors whose coefficients of reflection are maximum at the laser wavelength of the active laser material is further provided. The miniature optical source may find particular application in a physically compact laser emitting in the visible spectrum.

    摘要: A sensor is used to measure a physical quantity and includes at least: a measurement optical fiber including at least one Bragg grating; optical means designed to inject, into the fiber, a first, “pump” wave at a first optical frequency and a second, “probe” wave at a second optical frequency, the second optical frequency being different from the first optical frequency, the Bragg grating being designed to reflect the first and second optical waves, and the optical power of the first wave being sufficient to give, after interaction with the second wave reflected by stimulated Brillouin scattering, a “Stokes” wave, the frequency of which is representative of the physical quantity to be measured; and means for analyzing the difference in frequency between the two, “pump” and “Stokes”, optical waves.
