    摘要: A control system includes a first network including a controller 1, a second network including one or more controlled devices 3 to 6, and a translator 2 correlated with the first network and with the second network. The controlled device 3 comprises a controlled device information management unit 23 which manages controlled device information related to the controlled device 3; and a controlled device information communication unit 24 which sends controlled device information with appropriate timing. The translator 3 comprises a controlled device information proxy creating means which creates controlled device information proxies 35 based on controlled device information acquired from controlled devices 3; and an information managing means for registering and managing controlled device information and controlled device information proxies 35. The controller 1 comprises a means which acquires controlled device information proxies 35 from the translator 2 and issues operating instructions for operating the controlled devices 3 to 6. With this control system, an operator at a remote operation center can easily and remotely control equipment belonging to a network different from a network to which the remote operation center belongs.

    摘要: An antenna made by winding a coil on the periphery of a rod-like core made of a magnetic material is housed inside a pillar having a relatively small width and disposed in a manner such that its axis line is nearly orthogonal to the vertical axis line of the pillar. With this arrangement, a predetermined communication range is secured as the electromagnetic waves radiated from the antenna are barely absorbed by the vehicle body and radiated to inside the cabin as well as to the outside. Accordingly, an inexpensive antenna device and a communications system using it are provided which enable communication with a portable device inside and outside a vehicle cabin using a single antenna.

    摘要: In removal of sulfate groups and chlorate groups from brine used for electrolysis, concentrated brine used in an electrolysis process or dilute brine whose concentration is decreased by electrolysis is fed to an anode chamber divided by a cation exchange membrane in a brine treating electrolyzer, where the concentrated or dilute brine is electrolyzed to recover chloride ions therein. The concentrated brine is electrolyzed at a rate of decomposition of salt higher than that in the ion exchange membrane electrolysis process of brine. Thereafter, the concentrated or dilute brine is discharged out of the electrolysis process.

    摘要: Sheet bars are effectively joined while they are traveling and subjected to continuous hot rolling without causing defects in quality and without requiring large expensive apparatus such as a swing roller etc.The present invention is to provide a continuous hot rolling method and apparatus in which the tail of a preceding sheet bar is butted to the top of a succeeding sheet bar between the rough and finishing mills on a continuous hot rolling line, and the butted portion is welded from the upper surface of the sheet bars by means of laser beam or plasma arc while the sheet bars are traveling.According to the present invention, it is possible to join sheet bars from the upper surface in a short period of time without stopping the sheet bars and without causing splashes and burrs, before the sheet bars are subjected to continuous finish rolling. Since the welded apparatus does not interfere with the sheet bar conveyance table, hot strips of high quality can be effectively manufactured by the economical apparatus.

    摘要: A dispersion electroluminescent device and a switch unit using the same are disclosed. The dispersion electroluminescent device includes three electrodes: first and second electrode layers and a common electrode layer. The common electrode layer is disposed between the first and second electrode layers. An electroluminescent layer and a first dielectric layer are disposed between the first electrode layer and the common electrode layer. A second dielectric layer is disposed between the common electrode layer and the second electrode layer. A voltage source applies first and second ac or dc pulse voltages, which are 180.degree. out of phase with each other, across the first electrode layer and the common electrode layer and across the common electrode layer and the second electrode layer, respectively, for canceling mechanical vibrations produced at the first and second dielectric layers by each other.
