摘要: The invention aims to provide a compact peritoneal dialysis apparatus using a disposable cassette integrally formed with a diaphragm and heating portion, in which a flow path can be switched quietly and a heating ability is high. By using a disposable cassette (8) integrally formed with a diaphragm, heating portion, and flow path switching portion, a predetermined amount of dialysis fluid is heated to a predetermined temperature with the heating portion. Clamps (111-118) for opening/closing a flow path switching portion are provided in order to form flow paths through which the heated peritoneal dialysis fluid is distributed into the peritoneal cavity of a patient almost continuously and is sucked and drained from the peritoneal cavity of the patient. The invention also aims to provide a peritoneal dialysis apparatus with which automatic dialysis treatment can be performed by the patient himself and the operation procedures of which are very clear and easy to understand, so treatment can be performed with optimal conditions, and even if a trouble should occur, it can be coped with easily.

摘要: An ultrasonic shower cleaning apparatus includes a casing, a nozzle mounted to the downstream end of the casing, a substantially circular ultrasonic transducer operable to emit ultrasonic waves and oriented to face the upstream end of the nozzle, and an inlet port formed in the periphery of the casing to receive a cleaning liquid. The nozzle includes a right circular cylindrical outlet port through which the cleaning liquid along with the ultrasonic waves are released so as to ultrasonically clean an article. The outlet port extends axially through the nozzle and has a fixed diameter. The upstream end face of the nozzle is cone-shaped so as to be tapered in a direction toward the downstream end of the nozzle from its outer edge to the outlet port at a predetermined angle of inclination.

摘要: A method for fabricating a filtering member in which overlapping portions of a wire are bonded together in a layered manner through thermal treatment for forming a mesh is disclosed. In accordance with the method, a contact surface pressure between portions of the wire to be bonded together is maintained as equal to or higher than a predetermined level set depending on a thermal treatment condition. In this state, the thermal treatment is conducted such that a bonding portion of the wire has a strength equal to or greater than 4N.

摘要: A three-dimensional data shaping apparatus defines a working region, as a region of specific size and shape within a reference three-dimensional space, with a corresponding display picture being generated. A user can move the working region, using an input device such as a mouse, to select a specific part of a work object that is represented by a set of constituent data elements within the reference space, and execute shaping of the selected part. Determination of a selected part is performed in two judgement stages, i.e. a first stage in which a judgement is made as to interference between the working region and a number of fixed-size small regions into which the three-dimensional space is considered to be divided, and a second stage in which a judgement is made as to interference between the working region and only those constituent elements of the work object which correspond, according to predetermined criteria, with those of the small spaces for which interference has been found in the first judgement stage.

摘要: An image information communication apparatus notifies a remote terminal that an optical character reading process is applicable to image data to be transmitted. The optical character reading process is applied to convert raster image data corresponding to characters into predetermined character code data. Image data obtained by raster scanning an original document is transmitted to the remote terminal through a communication network. Notification information indicating that the optical character reading process is applicable to the image data to be transmitted is sent to the remote terminal prior to the transmission of the image data.
