摘要: The invention is intended to suppress oscillatory combustion of a combustion apparatus. In the invention, acoustic closed ends are provided at an inlet side and an outlet side of the burner port unit, and the combustion apparatus is constituted so that the flame may be positioned between these closed ends, and a buffer chamber is provided at the inlet side. Thus, when the inlet side and outlet side of the burner port unit of the combustion apparatus are formed as acoustic closed ends, oscillatory combustion occurs easily. At this time, when the intake tube communicates at the upstream side of the inlet side closed end, and an exhaust tube communicates at the downstream side of the outlet side closed end, if the length of the intake tube and exhaust tube is changed, the air ratio and combustion amount for generating oscillatory combustion remain constant, and the oscillation frequency and oscillation pressure remain constant. In such condition, when a sound absorbing unit is provided in the buffer chamber, oscillation does not occur, and if the intake tube or exhaust tube is extended, oscillation does not occur.

摘要: An exhaust gas processing device (16) intermittently introduces anode off-gas from a fuel cell (12). The exhaust processing device (16) discharges the anode off-gas after diluting it with dilution gas. The exhaust gas processing device (16) includes a dilution container (25) and a partition plate (28), which divide the interior of the dilution container (25) into a first chamber (26) and a second chamber (27). The partition plate (28) has a clearance (29), which connects the first chamber (26) and the second chamber (27) to each other. The exhaust gas processing device (16) includes a discharge portion (32) provided in the first chamber (26), a dilution gas inlet portion (30) provided in the first chamber (26), and an anode off-gas inlet portion (31) provided in the second chamber (27).

摘要: This invention is directed to an antireflection solution having as a main film-forming component thereof a hydrolytic derivative of a silicic ester and to a method for the treatment with the antireflection solution. The antireflection solution and the method for the treatment therewith are characterized by the fact that the hydrolytic derivative of silicic ester is obtained by causing a mixture consisting of the silicic ester and hydrolyzing water added thereto in an amount exceeding the chemical equivalent relative to the silicic ester to be hydrolyzed in the presence of a solvent compatible with both of the components of the mixture and further subjecting the resultant hydrolyzate to conversion into a colloid solution under the condition of pH 3 to 7. Owing to the characteristics mentioned above, the present invention permits the antireflection film produced by thermally solidifying an applied layer of the antireflection solution at a low temperature in the neighborhood of 100.degree. C. to acquire notable improvement in film properties such as resistance to defilement and adhesiveness to the substrate.

摘要: A system and method for controlling a fuel supplied to an internal combustion engine having a fuel supply cut-off function which operates when the engine falls in a predetermined engine deceleration condition. When a fuel supply recovery is restarted immediately after the fuel supply cut-off, a residual quantity of fuel which remains on a wall of an intake air passage is estimated on the basis of an engine load immediately before the fuel supply cut-off is carried out, a fuel recovery increment quantity for incrementing the fuel supply to the engine at a time immediately after the fuel supply recovery is carried out is set on the basis of the estimated residual quantity of fuel and an interval of time for which the fuel supply cut-off is carried out, a basic fuel quantity determined according to an engine operating condition is corrected according to the fuel recovery increment quantity, and the corrected fuel quantity is finally supplied to the engine during the fuel supply recovery. Therefore, a response to an acceleration is remarkably improved due to the fuel recovery increment quantity determined with the residual fuel quantity taken into account.

摘要: A switch for sensing a preset position of a throttle valve in an internal combustion engine, includes a stationary casing, a plunger movably disposed in the casing, and a throttle lever secured to the throttle valve so as to be moved along with the throttle valve. A first contact is supported on the casing. A second contact is supported on the plunger in such a manner as to contact the first contact according to the movement of the plunger. The throttle lever is so arranged as to be able to move the plunger and as to encounter the casing when the throttle lever moves, whereby the first and second contacts contact according to the movement of the throttle valve and the casing stops the movement of the throttle valve.

摘要: A vapor cooling heat exchanger is provided with: a partition wall for partitioning path for a fluid to be cooled through which a fluid to be cooled flows, and path for a refrigerant through which a refrigerant for cooling the fluid to be cooled flows; and fins which are disposed within path for a fluid to be cooled, and which is thermally connected to the partition wall. The fins constitute a first fin and a second fin, the local heat flux of which on the partition wall is smaller than the first fin. The first fin and the second fin are arranged on the basis of the relationship between the local heat flux on the partition wall and the heat flux limit of the refrigerant. As a consequence, the occurrence of local burn-out on the vapor cooling heat exchanger is suppressed.
