    摘要: A control device determining the air-fuel ratio in the leanest fashion or in the leaner fashion depending on the position of the throttle valve. The ignition timing is also determined in relation to the air-fuel ratio. The ignition timing is advanced when the air-fuel ratio is in the leanest fashion and the ignition timing is retarded with respect to the former timing when the air-fuel ratio is in the leaner fashion. The control device further causes a delay in change-over of the ignition timing between two timing patterns relative to the change-over of the air fuel ratio when the opening of the throttle valve is changed beyond the predetermined value.

    摘要: A generator-motor apparatus (100) includes a control circuit (20), an alternator (50), electrode plates (83, 84), and switching devices (SW1 to SW6). The electrodes plates (83, 5 84) have a substantial horseshoe shape, and are provided on an end surface of the alternator (50) so as to surround a rotating shaft (50A) of the alternator (50). Each of the switching devices (SW1 to SW6) is formed by sandwiching a MOS transistor between two electrodes, and has a can structure for sealing the internal space of the switching device using a resin. The switching devices (SW1, SW3, SW5) are directly attached to the electrode plate (83) by means of soldering, and the switching devices (SW2, SW4, SW6) are directly attached to the electrode plate (84) by means of soldering. The control circuit (2% controls the switching devices (SW1 to SW6). The switching devices (SW1 to SW6) drive the alternator (50) as an electric motor or an electric power generator.

    摘要: A starter comprises a thermostat for detecting increases in the temperature of brushes and interrupting the energizing of the starter, and a heat conducting member secured to the thermostat for conducting the heat of one of the brushes, the heat conducting member being attached to the brush. The heat conducting member may also be formed integrally with a brush holder. The heat conducting member may additionally be secured to a bracket so as to hold a base therebetween. The heat conducting member may also be composed of a metallic material having superior thermal conductivity, and may be copper or brass. An electrically insulating sheet may be held between the brush holders and the base as heat insulating material for preventing the transfer of heat from the brushes to the base. An electrically insulating tube may also be interposed between the thermostat and a first leg of the heat conducting member.
