    摘要： An endoscope apparatus having an internal channel comprises a scope portion in which a flexibly bending portion is provided at an elongated insert portion having a flexibility, the insert portion being inserted into a space which is a target of inspection, and a manipulating device inserting channel is formed, the channel being capable of loading therein a predetermined manipulating device which advances the inside of the insert portion to its distal end side, a remote controller which operates the flexibly bending portion by a joystick, and a connecting device which connects the scope portion and the remote controller to be integrally linked with each other at a position where an operation of the joystick and an operation for inserting the manipulating device through a proximal opening end do not interfere with each other.

    摘要： A vehicle height sensor includes switching circuits which are turned on and off in accordance with height of a vehicle. The vehicle height sensor is driven when a drive signal is outputted to the sensor. A preset voltage is fed to terminals of the respective switching circuits via resistors. Voltages at the terminals are outputted as vehicle height data having bits corresponding to the respective switching circuits. When the output of the drive signal is suspended, the vehicle height data are read as vehicle height sensor malfunction detecting data. The malfunction detecting data are compared to preset reference data. The vehicle height sensor is judged to be wrong when the malfunction detecting data differ from the preset reference data.

    摘要： A protective body packages an exterior of a capsule endoscope body of a capsule endoscope such that a field of vision of an objective lens system is not obstructed. As a result, even if the capsule endoscope collides against a wall surface inside an object being examined, a circular cylinder portion of the protective body is elastically deformed so that the protective body itself becomes a shock absorbing portion and protects each portion inside a case as well as actual LED covers and a lens cover. As a result, the capsule endoscope body can be recovered in an undamaged condition, and unnecessary costs can be reduced by reusing the capsule endoscope body.

    摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for controlling the data size of an electronic mail. A computer program executes the method as follows. A mail controlling section compresses data of an electronic mail so that the data size is not more than an unsendable size recorded in relation to a destination electronic mail address by referring to an address table. A mail sending section sends the compressed electronic mail to a recipient. In the case where an electronic mail that has been received by a mail receiving section has a data size which is larger than a sendable size, an updating section updates the sendable size. Further, in the case where an error mail with regard to an electronic mail which is smaller in data size than the unsendable size is received, the unsendable size is updated.
