Abstract: There is provided an electronic device capable of improving the difficulty of breaking a digital electronic lock and the accuracy of gesture control. The electronic device is unlocked according to gestures of a single hand or two hands, an operation hand, a gesture position, a staying time of gesture and a gesture variation of a user. The electronic device further improves the accuracy of gesture control in conjunction with an accessory pattern, temperature sensing and space information of a wearable device. The present disclosure further provides an electronic device that identifies legitimacy of moving the electronic device according to a variation sequence of 3-axis accelerations of an accelerometer.

Abstract: A method for detecting motion information includes the following steps. First, a pixel array is provided for detecting an image of a measured object located in a first distance range or in a second distance range, and the pixel array includes a plurality of invisible image sensing pixels and a plurality of visible image sensing pixels. Then, image detection is conducted within the first distance range by using the invisible image sensing pixels to output a plurality of invisible images. Next, the image detection is conducted within the second distance range by using the visible image sensing pixels to output a plurality of visible images. Then, the plurality of invisible images and the plurality of visible images are analyzed by using a processing unit, so as to obtain motion information of the measured object. A pixel array for detecting motion information and an image sensor are also provided.

Abstract: A detection device and an indoor navigation system are provided. The detection device includes two detection modules each including a sound receiver for receiving sound from a peripheral object and a signal converting circuit that is electrically coupled to the sound receiver and that is configured to convert input signal from the sound receiver into a target spectrogram. The two spectrograms from the signal converting circuits have a time/phase difference, and at least one wireless earphone includes a storage unit and a judging circuit that is electrically coupled to the storage unit and the two signal converting circuits. The judging circuit is configured to compare any target spectrogram with basic spectrograms of the storage unit so as to determine which kind of objects the peripheral object is, and is configured to obtain an instant position of the peripheral object by the time/phase difference.

Abstract: A weeder robot includes a movable carrier and a blade module assembled to the movable carrier. The movable carrier includes a map creating module and a control module that is electrically coupled to the blade module and the map creating module. The map creating module includes an infrared unit and a vision sensing unit. The infrared unit can emit and receive an infrared light. The vision sensing unit can obtain an image information in a non-contact manner. The movable carrier can be used to move in a court, so that the map creating module can generate a three-dimensional (3D) court map through cooperation between the infrared unit and the vision sensing unit. When the weeder robot performs a maintenance process, the control module drives the blade module to weed a portion of a lawn higher than a predetermined height according to the 3D court map.
