    Abstract: An acceleration sensor includes a CV conversion circuit, an AD conversion circuit, and first and second registers. The CV conversion circuit outputs a voltage corresponding to the capacitance changes between a movable electrode and each of first and second fixed electrodes disposed to face the movable electrode. The AD conversion circuit is connected to the CV conversion circuit and has a first detection range and a second detection range. The first register is connected to the AD conversion circuit and holds a first value. The second register is connected to the AD conversion circuit and holds a second value. The first value contains information about an acceleration in the first detection range, and the second value contains information about an acceleration in the second detection range. The first and second values indicate accelerations in the same direction.

    Abstract: The connector reception portion is configured such that, when the battery pack is housed in the battery housing portion, the battery cylindrical portion is positioned at the connector reception portion of the battery housing portion, and thereafter, while the battery pack is inclined so that the battery cylindrical portion is located diagonally forward down with respect to the battery mounting surface, the battery cylindrical portion is inserted and fitted within the peripheral wall of the connector reception portion, and the battery pack is inclined so that an inclination angle is smaller while the battery pack is pushed forward in this fitted-and-inserted state, thereby the battery pack is laid on the battery mounting surface of the battery housing portion, and the battery connector is connected to the connection terminals in a direction parallel to the battery mounting surface.

    Abstract: A sensor includes a detection element that outputs a detection signal corresponding to a physical quantity, a detection circuit that outputs a physical quantity signal corresponding to the physical quantity, first to third diagnosis circuits. The first diagnosis circuit is configured to receive a signal input to the detection circuit and a signal output from the detection circuit, to output an error signal in a case where the detection circuit is abnormal. The second diagnosis circuit is configured to input a diagnosis signal to the first diagnosis circuit. The second diagnosis circuit is configured to input, to the first diagnosis circuit, another of the signal input to the detection circuit and the signal output from the detection circuit. The third diagnosis circuit monitors whether or not the diagnosis signal is input from the second diagnosis circuit to the first diagnosis circuit.

    Abstract: A lock mechanism of the present disclosure includes an engaging member, an operating member, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism translates a linear movement of the operating member between a first position and a second position into a rotation of the engaging member between a first rotational position and a second rotational position so that, when the operating member is moved to the first position, the engaging member is rotated to the first rotational position, and, when the operating member is moved to the second position, the engaging member is rotated to the second rotational position. The engaging member includes a pair of engaging pieces around a rotation shaft center, and an engaging-target portion includes a pair of engaging recesses with which the pair of engaging pieces engages when the engaging member lies at the first rotational position, and from which the pair of engaging pieces disengages when the engaging member lies at the second rotational position.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes: a first housing 1; a cover 11 capable of covering a portion of the first housing 1 to be covered; and a waterproofing member 12 placed around the portion to be covered. The cover 11 is displaceable between a closed position at which the cover covers the portion to be covered and an open position at which the cover opens the portion to be covered. The cover 11 is in contact with the waterproofing member 12 when it is at the closed position. Even if the number of terminals increases, since the waterproofing member 12 is provided on the first housing 1, the single waterproofing member can render all of the terminals waterproof. Thus, it is possible to reduce the number of components and to reduce the number of assembling steps.
