    摘要： There is provided a dispenser suitable for dispensing medicament, particularly medicament for use in the treatment of respiratory disorders. The dispenser comprises a housing (1) having a support (5); a container (2), locatable within said housing (1), having an outlet member, wherein said container (2) is movable relative to the housing (1) to enable dispensing therefrom and said outlet member is connectable with said support (5) to prevent relative movement there-between; and a dose indicator (13, 43), locatable within said housing (1). The container (2) and dose indicator (13, 43) are reversably removable from the housing (1) as a single unit.

    摘要： A metering pump system for metering and pumping a metered volume of a fluid product (2) has a storage chamber (57) for storing the fluid product in; a metering chamber (73) which is movable between a contracted state and an expanded state, the system adapted such that movement of the metering chamber from its contracted state to its expanded state results in the metering chamber being placed in fluid communication with the storage chamber to enable the metering chamber to receive an excess volume of the fluid product comprising the metered volume and a surplus volume from the storage chamber and movement of the metering chamber from its expanded state to its contracted state causes the metered volume to be pumped from the metering chamber; a bleed mechanism (55a, 55b) for bleeding the surplus volume from the metering chamber as it moves from the expanded state to the contracted state; and an inlet valve mechanism (150) which is disposed between the storage and metering chambers and movable between an open state, to permit flow of the fluid product from the storage chamber to the metering chamber through the inlet valve mechanism, and a closed state, to prevent flow of the fluid product between the storage and metering chambers through the inlet valve mechanism. The inlet valve mechanism is adapted so that it remains in its closed state except when the metering chamber moves from the contracted state to its expanded state.

    摘要： A drug delivery device for delivering to a patient a drug composition from a container which contains the drug composition where the container is adapted to be placed in a dispensing mode thereof on application of an actuating condition thereto is disclosed. The device includes a dispensing unit adapted to receive the container, the dispensing unit having an actuating mechanism operable to apply the actuating condition to the container and an outlet through which the drug composition is dispensable from the device, and a removable casing unit for the dispensing unit. The dispensing and casing units have securing features for releasably, fixedly securing the units together, and the dispensing unit is operable to apply the actuating condition to the container when fixedly secured to the casing unit and when independent from the casing unit.
