    摘要： An apparatus for separating individual conductors in an array thereof is characterized by a member having an abutment surface operable against the axial ends of the conductors to cause the same to buckle radially outwardly of the axis of the cable to form a buckled array of conductors. A rotator assembly is provided for rotating each conductor in a buckled array past a reference position. A grasping finger selects the conductor disposed at the reference position and transposes the same to a different predetermined position.

    摘要： An electrical connector for interconnecting a large scale integrated (LSI) circuit package having a plurality of conductive interfaces with a printed circuit board or other electrical unit. The LSI circuit package can be inserted or removed from the connector absent any significant force. The connector includes a plurality of latches movable on a ramp of a dielectric housing containing a plurality of contact springs. Movement of the latch out of the ramp valley causes it to clamp onto the upper surface of the LSI and forces the lower surface of the LSI containing the conductive interfaces to electrically contact the contact springs in the housing.

    摘要： A zero insertion force connector is provided with a housing and a latching member rectilinearly displacable with respect to the housing. A circuit board, receivable within the housing, is displaced with respect thereto from an initial to a final position in which the board abuts against a predetermined abutment surface on the housing. As the board is displaced, the final position of the board engages against a resilient contacting member which is successively urged in a first wiping direction across the conduction stripe on the board and thereafter, into a counter backwiping direction along the stripe.
