摘要: In one example, a magnetic resonance imaging (“MRI”) system comprises a magnetic resonance imaging assembly defining a gap region, a transmitting coil proximate the gap region, and at least one test coil separate from the transmitting coil. The at least one coil is mechanically coupled to the assembly during imaging and the at least one test coil is selectively electrically coupled to the assembly to collect test data. The at least one coil may be coupled to a test fixture coupled to the assembly. The test fixture may be deployable from a first position to a second position for collection of test data. The at least one coil may comprise a first test coil and a second test coil. Methods are also disclosed.

摘要: A test fixture for testing and monitoring electromagnetic characteristics of a magnetic resonance imaging (“MRI”) system preferably comprises a body portion having a first longitudinal axis and a first coil supported by the body portion. A longitudinal member is preferably connected to the body portion. A second coil is supported by the longitudinal member. The longitudinal member has a second longitudinal axis transverse to the first longitudinal axis. A container for containing a test substance is supported by the longitudinal member within the second coil. The second coil is preferably a transceiver and the test substance is a material capable of emitting a magnetic resonance signal. The longitudinal member is preferably pivotally connected to the body portion and the body portion is preferably telescoping so that the test fixture may be stored in a compact position. Preferably, the test fixture is stored in the gap region in an MRI system. For example, the fixture may be stored in a chamber in a transmitting coil plate attached to a pole of an open MRI system.

The accelerometer is configured to detect an acceleration indicative of an impact experienced by the user. An inaudible tone chip is positioned about the housing. The inaudible tone chip is configured to transmit ultrasonic tones including data of the impact to a remote device. A remote device includes a receiver. The receiver is configured to receive the ultrasonic tones transmitted by the inaudible tone chip.

摘要: Potted plant riser assemblies are provided for preventing small, crawling insects from accessing cultivated plants. Embodiments of the potted plant riser assembly can include an outer wall structure that defines an outer ground boundary. The outer wall structure surrounds a capture trough, which surrounds a riser structure. The capture trough has insect capture material disposed therein. The riser structure includes an elevated platform on which to place (or integrate) a planter for cultivating a plant. The potted plant riser assembly also includes an eaves structure designed to permit entry of small, crawling insects into the capture trough, while also shielding the capture trough from entry of debris and from run-off of water, soil, and the like from the plant and planter.

Evaluation means are provided for evaluating one or more driving condition indicators to determine the extent to which each of the subsystem control modes is appropriate and for providing an output to the subsystem controller that is indicative of the control mode which is most appropriate. This may be an evaluation means for calculating the probability that the or each of the subsystem control modes is appropriate. Automatic control means may be operable in an automatic response mode to select an appropriate one of the subsystem control modes in dependence on the output.
