    摘要: A sensing apparatus having a sensing functionality controller and a method of detecting the sensing apparatus is disclosed. A signal generation unit embedded in the sensing apparatus operates in conjunction with the sensing functionality controller to support the sensing functionality of the sensing unit. The signal generation unit generates one or more sensing functionality support signals used to enhance content obtained by the sensing unit, (e.g., a flash for illuminating a sensed target such that content obtained by the sensing unit is not too dark, or a sound or light-based auto focus signal to make sure that the content is not out of focus). When the sensing functionality controller is activated, the same signal generation unit generates a detectable warning signal, (e.g., sound, light, radio wave), which indicates that the sensing functionality controller has been activated and/or the sensing unit is sensing.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling transmissions of data via an enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) are disclosed. A list of available transport format combinations (TFCs) is generated based on a plurality of dedicated channel medium access control (MAC-d) flows. An enhanced uplink medium access control (MAC-e) protocol data unit (PDU) is generated using a TFC which is selected from the list of available TFCs. The MAC-e PDU is forwarded to a hybrid-automatic repeat request (H-ARQ) process unit for transmission. The list of available TFCs is continuously updated by eliminating and recovering TFCs based on remaining E-DCH power, an E-DCH transport format combination set (TFCS), a power offset of a highest priority MAC-d flow that has E-DCH data to transmit, and a gain factor for each TFC.

The method may include: receiving a message including a network access identifier (NAI); removing the first digit from the NAI to form a stripped NAI; determining whether the stripped NAI corresponds to a subscriber; determining whether the NAI corresponds to a subscriber; adding a hint digit to form an extended NAI, and determining whether the extended NAI corresponds to a subscriber; and if any of the NAIs correspond to a subscriber, using the corresponding NAI to identify the subscriber. Various exemplary embodiments relate to a policy and charging rules node including: a subscriber cache including a subscriber identifier; an interface configured to receive a NAI; a NAI modifier configured to form an extended NAI and a stripped NAI; and a subscriber identification module configured to determine whether a NAI is stored in the subscriber cache.

    摘要: The invention performs long term evolution (LTE) tracking area updates (TAUs), and tracking area code (TAC) and public land mobile network identification (PLMN-ID) assisted optimized wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) cell reselection. An evolved Node-B broadcasts system information including at least one system information block (SIB) based at least in part on an enhanced universal terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) parameter response message sent by an evolved packet core (EPC) network. A WTRU generates a new TAC, which represents a tracking area identification (TA-ID) of a new cell, based on the system information, and compares the new TAC to an existing TAC, which represents a TA-ID of a previous cell. The WTRU transmits to the EPC network a TAU request message including the TA-ID of the new cell. The EPC network sends either a TAU accept message or a TAU reject message to the WTRU.
