摘要: A torsion bar spring arrangement, particularly a stabilizer arrangement, for a double-track vehicle, has at least one prestressed spring element which limits the introduction of force into the torsion bar spring or the stabilizer to a value defined by the prestressing force of the spring element, in which case the spring element acts as an overload protection such that, when a force is introduced which significantly exceeds the prestressing force, the torsion bar spring arrangement would be damaged without this spring element. The torsion bar spring can have a divided construction and the spring element can be clamped in between the two parts of the torsion bar spring, in which case these two parts of the torsion bar spring can be mutually rotatable by way of an actuator. Preferably, the torsion bar spring parts each have a driving device which is clamped by way of the spring element between two stops which, for the first torsion bar spring part, are fixedly connected with the housing of the actuator ad, for the second torsion bar spring part, are connected with its control element.

摘要: An electromechanical stabilizer for the chassis of a vehicle, particularly a motor vehicle, is provided having an actuator which is integrated between two stabilizer halves and, as required, rotates the two stablizer halves with respect to one another by a rotation angle. The actuator consists of an electric motor as well as of a transmission connected to the output side of this electric motor. The transmission has a transmission ratio which changes as a function of the angle of rotation. The transmission is designed such that the smallest possible transmission ratio occurs in the neutral position while the stabilizer halves are not rotated with respect to one another. For large angles of rotation, this transmission ratio changes in the “infinite” direction. The transmission having a variable transmission ratio can be constructed for example, as a hypocycloidal transmission with linear guides or as an eccentric transmission.

摘要: A method and apparatus for determining whether to alert a driver of a vehicle to the presence of a traffic sign in the vehicle's driving environment. An optical system on-board the vehicle detects the traffic sign and determine information related to the sign. Driving maneuvers carried out by the vehicle are monitored to determine driving situation information. The driving situation information and the traffic sign information are used to determine a probability that the sign is pertinent for the vehicle under the current driving conditions. If the probability is above a threshold, the driver is alerted to the traffic sign. The probability of the pertinence of the traffic sign may be further determined on the basis of lane-specific information such as vehicle position relative to a freeway exit ramp start or end, or performance of a lane change by the vehicle.

摘要: A method and device for the detection and compensation of periodic disturbances in the steering device of a motor vehicle in which a speed-dependent target frequency is determined, and that a Fourier analysis of a time profile of the steering force and/or of the steering torque is carried out for the determined target frequency or a multiple of the target frequency. The method and device also include obtaining amplitudes that are plotted as a function of the vehicle speed, and a model function may be adapted to the curve, the adapted parameter of which model function then constitutes a robust measure for the disturbances. As a function of the parameter, the disturbances can then be suppressed by means of targeted action on a power assistance arrangement of the steering.

摘要: A deceleration warning device for reducing rear-end collisions in road traffic includes a sensor for detecting a longitudinal acceleration value, a control device receiving the longitudinal acceleration value, determining an acceleration limit value, and generating a warning signal if the longitudinal acceleration value exceeds the acceleration limit value, and a rear lighting display for displaying an alarm state when the control device emits a warning signal. Determination of the acceleration limit value is based upon a plurality of signals including an anti-lock braking system (ABS) signal and a brake pedal position signal. The control device is operable in one of three levels depending upon a detected quality of the signals.

摘要: Various embodiment include a system and a method for recognizing road signs. An image of a road sign may be captured by least one image sensor. A vehicle computer may receive the image data representing one or more road signs along a route and display one or more images of the road sign based on the image data. The display may be capable of presenting one or more status of the road sign based on one or more travel states for the vehicle. These travel states may include at least one of an amount of elapsed travel time, distance travelled, or speed.
