    摘要： Useful for the ink jet process are dye preparations which contain from 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the weight of the preparation, of a dye quantity which is from 90 to 100% by weight the dye of the formula I ##STR1## where Kat.sym. is the equivalent of a metal or ammonium ion, from 0 to 15% by weight, based on the weight of the preparation, of one or more water-miscible organic solvents, and from 75 to 99.99% by weight, based on the weight of preparation, of water and which are essentially free of foreign salts, in the ink jet process.

    摘要： An electrostatic toner contains a polymeric binder and as charge stabilizer a 1:2 chromium, iron, cobalt or zirconium complex of azo dyes of the formula D--N.dbd.N--K, where D is derived from a diazo component D--NH.sub.2 selected from the group consisting of 2-amino-4-nitrophenol, 2-amino-5-nitrophenol, 2-amino-phenol-4-sulfonamide, anthranilic acid and picramic acid and K is derived from a coupling component K--H selected from the group consisting of .beta.-naphthol, acetoacetanilide and 1-phenyl-3-methylpyrazol-5-one.

    摘要： Method for detecting marked mineral oils by treating the marked mineral oil with an extractant comprising water, a solvent and a base comprises using as marker an azo dye of the formula ##STR1## where ring A may be benzofused,m is from 1 to 4,X.sup.1 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, cyano or nitro,X.sup.2 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, cyano, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 -alkoxycarbonyl,X.sup.3 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, cyano or C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 -alkoxycarbonyl, andX.sup.4 is hydrogen, hydroxyl, substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, amino, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -dialkylamino or substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.16 -monoalkylamino,as solvent a partially or completely water-miscible organic solvent, and as base an alkali or alkaline earth metal hydroxide, an alkali metal carbonate or a quaternary ammonium hydroxide, the use of azo dyes as markers for mineral oils, and novel azo dyes.

    摘要： Paper size mixtures comprising a reactive size dispersed in water and a polymer, which are obtainable by mixing (a) an aqueous dispersion of a reactive size whose dispersed particles have a mean particle diameter of less than 500 nm, the dispersion being obtainable by emulsifying at least one reactive size in water in the presence of at least one surfactant, and (b) at least one emulsion polymer and/or at least one water-soluble polymer which does not have a dispersing effect with respect to reactive sizes and/or a water-dispersible polymer, and use of said paper size mixtures for the engine sizing and surface sizing of paper and paper products.
