The first pixel includes: a first subpixel including a first thin film transistor connected to the first gate line and data line, and a first liquid crystal capacitor, wherein a first terminal of the first liquid crystal capacitor is electrically connected to the first thin film transistor and a second terminal of the first liquid crystal capacitor is configured to receive a common voltage; and a second subpixel including a second thin film transistor connected to the first gate line and data line, a second liquid crystal capacitor, wherein a first terminal of the second liquid crystal capacitor is configured to receive the common voltage, and a thin film transistor resistor electrically connected between the second thin film transistor and a second terminal of the second liquid crystal capacitor.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (“LCD”) device includes: a first display panel including a first substrate, a first pixel electrode disposed on the first substrate, and a second pixel electrode disposed on the first substrate and insulated from the first pixel electrode; a second display panel including a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, and a common electrode disposed on the second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second display panels and including a plurality of liquid crystal molecules. In a black state, no voltage is applied to the common electrode and an electric field is generated between the first and second pixel electrodes in a way such that the liquid crystal molecules are aligned in a vertical direction with respect to the first substrate.
