    摘要: A liquid crystal polyester resin composition includes, based on 100 parts by mass of a liquid crystal polyester, 15 to 60 parts by mass of talc having a number average particle size of 10 to 50 μm, 25 to 50 parts by mass of a glass fiber having a number average fiber length of 100 to 200 μm and a number average fiber diameter of 4 to 8 μm, and 2 to 10 parts by mass of carbon black, wherein a melt viscosity as determined at a shear rate of 100 sec−1 at 370° C. is 10 to 100 Pa·S and a deflection temperature under load is 220° C. or more. The liquid crystal polyester resin composition is used to provide a liquid crystal polyester resin composition for a camera module, having good heat resistance, rigidity, strength, and moldability, and also an excellent surface exfoliation property in a well balanced manner and being capable of being surface mounted (SMT).

    摘要: A wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin composition for injection molding, formed by melt-kneading 100 parts by mass of a wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin, and 5 to 20 parts by mass of glass fibers having a number average diameter of 5 to 20 μm and an aspect ratio of 5 or more, the wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin being formed by polycondensation of 60 to 70 mol % of p-hydroxybenzoic acid, 40 to 30 mol % of terephthalic acid and 4,4′-dihydroxydiphenyl combined, and 0 to 5 mol % of isophthalic acid and/or terephthalic acid (for all of these, derivatives thereof are included, and the total of these is 100 mol %). This composition has excellent damping properties, and is suitable for a molding material of an optical pickup lens holder for short type pickups for use in high-speed DVD systems and playback pickups for use in Blu-ray systems.

    摘要: Disclosed is a resin composition produced by melt-kneading a white pigment and a wholly aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester. The resin composition can retain the excellent heat resistance and moldability of the wholly aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester and have a satisfactory level of white light reflectance. The resin composition comprises 35 to 100 parts by weight of a white pigment particle and 100 parts by weight of a wholly aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester, wherein the white pigment particle comprises 3 to 15 mass % of aluminum oxide and 97 to 85 mass % of a white pigment produced by a process including a roasting step and having a surface treated with the aluminum oxide (provided that the sum total of the white pigment and aluminum oxide is defined as 100 mass %). The resin composition can be produced by a process including a melt-kneading step.

    摘要: A liquid crystal polyester resin composition for camera modules is used, the composition including, based on 100 parts by mass of the composition as a whole, (A) 49.5 to 69.5 parts by mass of a liquid crystal polyester, (B) 30.0 to 50.0 parts by mass of an irregular form or spherical powder having a Mohs hardness of 5 or higher and a primary particle diameter of 5 μm or less, and (C) 0.5 to 5.0 parts by mass of carbon black. The use of the resin composition allows a reduction in the amount of dust generated (particles falling off) during the production of the camera, the use of the camera, and the operation of the camera modules. The resin composition has high surface hardness, is excellent in balance between heat resistance, stiffness, moldability, and resistance to falling of particles off a surface, and causes no malfunction during autofocus control.

    摘要: A molded product of a wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin composition having a dielectric constant of 3.0 or less and a dielectric dissipation factor of 0.04 or less and is obtained by an injection molding of a composition comprising 90 to 45 percent by weight of the wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester having a melting point of 320C or more, 10 to 40 percent by weight of an inorganic spherical hollow material having an aspect ratio of 2 or less, and 0 to 15 percent by weight of an inorganic filler having an aspect ratio of 4 or more. The molded product has dielectric properties suitable for information and telecommunications equipment, and is excellent in solder heat resistance, processability, and dimensional stability. The molded product is advantageous as a substrate material for use in information and telecommunications equipment such as a cellular mobile phone and as a fixing/holding member of a transmitter-receiver element.

The optical pickup lens holder exhibits excellent characteristics as an optical pickup lens holder, while containing good heat resistance in soldering and good processability inherent in a liquid crystalline polyester, exhibits high injection processability and high adaptability to a soldering process even when a sheet form lens holder having a thin part and an opening port, and is restricted in the temperature rise of the part near a driving coil.
