摘要: The presence/absence of a face in an image and the type of imaging mode during imaging (such as a landscape imaging mode and a close-up imaging mode) of the image acquired by imaging and the like are detected. Images are automatically classified by groups based on the detected information (classification information). A plurality of images classified by the groups are connected to create a multi-image file (MP file), and the MP file is recorded in a recording medium. As a result, the plurality of classified images can be managed altogether (without dissipation), and the plurality of classified images can be reproduced by providing the multi-image file even if a reproducer does not have a classification function.

摘要: An eddy current testing device which confirms that a change in characteristics of a target object is detected regardless of the magnitude of the change and specifying the position of a portion from which the change is detected. The device uses an eddy current probe to inspect a bent portion of a metal body, and has an inspection controller and a display unit. The inspection controller calculates a phase angle of a signal detected by the eddy current probe and generates flaw identification image data that indicates an area (or an area of the signal detected and determined to correspond to a flaw signal, based on the phase angle of the detected signal) of a flaw signal in coordinates in which the position of the portion of the target object is plotted along a coordinate axis. The display unit displays the flaw identification image data.

摘要: A fuel pump suctions fuel from a fuel tank and discharges the fuel. A discharge metering valve regulates an amount of the discharged fuel out of the suctioned fuel. The discharged amount is regulated by operating closing timing for closing the discharge metering valve through energization of the discharge metering valve. The fuel discharged by the fuel pump is pressure-fed to a common rail. A rotation angle interval between energizing operations of the discharge metering valve is lengthened when rotation speed of an output shaft of a diesel engine is high. Thus, a residual magnetic flux in the discharge metering valve is reduced. As a result, control of the fuel pressure can be suitably performed.

摘要: It is provided a computer game apparatus for displaying an image of virtual space in which first and second characters locate, the image being viewed from a first point in the virtual space to a direction from the first point to a second point in the virtual space, comprising: a first processor for obtaining positions of the first and second characters in the virtual space; and a second processor for setting the first or second point in accordance with a distance between the positions of the first and second characters which are aligned in the direction in the virtual space. According to the present invention, when the characters approach each other in virtual space in a game, the first point in virtual space is raised, so that the image is displayed as virtual space is looked down. Therefore, since the first character manipulated by the player and the enemy character do not overlap in the image, the player can clearly observe the movements of the enemy character. And even when the two characters are fighting in close, since the character controlled by the player can quickly cope with an attack by the enemy character, the game will be more exiting.

摘要: A stroke cushioning apparatus for a hydraulic cylinder provided at rod side stroke end and/or head side stroke end. The rod side stroke end cushioning apparatus comprises a sleeve mounted on a piston rod and a cushion ring mounted on the inner face of a housing defining a passage which accommodates the sleeve when a piston assembly is moved to its rod side stroke end. The cushion ring is allowed to move slightly in an axial direction. When the piston assembly is moved towards its rod side stroke end and the sleeve enters into the passage, flow of fluid is restricted between the cushion ring and the sleeve thus effecting a cushioning action to the piston assembly. The head side stroke end cushioning apparatus comprises a plunger mounted to the piston rod and wall of a passage formed at the head end of the cylinder. The plunger is mounted to the piston rod by means of a plurality of balls with allowing slight movements of the plunger both axially and radially. When the piston assembly is moved towards its head side stroke end and the plunger enters into the passage, flow of fluid is restricted between the plunger and the wall of the passage thus effecting a cushioning action to the piston assembly.

摘要: Designated positions in a left-eye image and in a right-eye image are detected. The dominant eye is input and, if there is a position designation made by the observer, the coordinate position of the designated position is calculated in each of the left-eye and right-eye images. A template image is detected from the dominant-eye image and an image identical with the detected template image is detected from the non-dominant-eye image. Positions in respective ones of the template image and matching image become the designated positions. A distance differential between the template image detected from the dominant-eye image and the image detected from the non-dominant-eye image is parallax. The parallax of the designated positions is adjusted.
