    摘要： There is provided an emulsion coloring material which can be used on ordinary paper, has good color developability, and can be used for conventional erasable pens or printing inks of black or blue color, having sufficiently high densities. When use is made of an erasable emulsion coloring material capable of controlling color development and decolorization by the presence or absence of the interaction between a chromatic material and a color developer, the colored emulsion comprising a copolymer resin of at least one unit selected from styrene and styrene derivatives and at least one unit selected from an acrylic acid ester and a methacrylic acid ester having a substituent which comprises a carbon chain having 4 or more carbon atoms, coloring ability can be enhanced.

    摘要： According to one embodiment, an image erasing apparatus decolors an image printed on a paper sheet using an ink containing at least a leuco dye, a developer, water, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a surfactant. The image erasing apparatus includes a heating unit, a feedback mechanism, and a control unit. The heating unit heats the paper sheet. The feedback mechanism supplies the paper sheet heated by the heating unit to the heating unit again. The control unit causes the feedback mechanism to supply the paper sheet to the heating unit a plurality of times so as to heat the paper sheet a plurality of times.

To accomplish this, a display method of this invention includes a specifying step of specifying a color determined by a hue difference calculated from first and second values associated with spectral reflectance characteristics, and a display step of displaying the color specified in the specifying step as a graphical object. The specified color is specified as a representative color that indicates a hue on a chromaticity diagram to which the hue difference biases.

    摘要： A paper classification apparatus includes a heater for heating paper or a solvent supply unit for supplying a solvent to the paper, a detector, a computer, and a selector guide. The detector detects the reflection density of the paper after being heated or supplied with the solvent. The computer compares the detected reflecting density of the paper with a predetermined reference value stored in a memory. The selector guide classifies the paper on the basis of a comparison result of the reflection density. This apparatus can classify plain paper having an image formed with an ordinary image forming material, plain paper having an image formed with an erasable image forming material, and thermosensible paper.
