    摘要: A printing apparatus creates and prints an order sheet on which a list of image data is placed. By filling in marking fields on the order sheet a user can select image data for transmission. Once the order sheet has been scanned by the scanner, the printing apparatus creates an e-mail having attached to it the image data selected by the user, and sends this to a computer or the like via a mail server. It is possible in this way to easily select image data for transmission through a prescribed communications network.

    摘要: A method to configure an apparatus to obtain a color image for printing. The apparatus presents the printing option of converting the color image into a standard monochrome image or a color-highlighted monochrome image. Black colored portions of the original color image are shown to be predominantly darker in the standard monochrome image. Colored portions, of a predetermined color of the original color image, are shown to be predominantly darker in the color-highlighted monochrome image, and black colored portions, of the original color image, are less prominent. The apparatus applies filters to the color image to produce the standard or color-high-lighted monochrome image, and outputs whichever option is selected by the user.

    摘要: When applying a high frequency voltage which alternates on positive and negative sides to a permanent magnet synchronous motor, a driving system of synchronous motor switches the applied voltage phase by 120 degrees successively and applies resultant voltages to three phases. A pulsating current generated by applying a high frequency voltage is detected at timing of elapse of a predetermined time Δt since an output voltage of at least one phase has changed from a state in which all output voltages of the three phases of a power converter are positive or negative. Current detection is conducted by using a DC resistor or a phase current sensor provided on a DC bus. A magnetic pole estimation unit calculates the rotor magnetic pole position of the permanent magnet synchronous motor on the basis of differences between positive side and negative side change quantities in three-phase currents obtained from detected current values.

    摘要: A torque transmission device is provided wherein a rotary housing is connected to one of front and rear drive shafts which respectively drive front and rear axles of a four-wheel drive vehicle, while a rotary shaft coaxially carried by the rotary housing is connected to the other of the front and rear drive shafts. The housing receives therein a multiple disc clutch device for transmitting rotational power between the housing and the shaft through friction engagement between alternately arranged outer and inner clutch discs which are respectively rotatable bodily with the housing and the shaft. The housing also receives an axially movable piston to press the clutch discs for friction engagement. An end wall of the housing or an end cap secured thereto and a facing end surface of the piston define an axially narrow circular chamber, within which a rotor with a plurality of radially extending blade portions provided with a pair of slanted surfaces is received to be rotated by the shaft. A several space sections into which the chamber is divided by the rotor blade portions are filled with silicon oil of a high viscosity. When the rotational speed difference occurs between the rotor and the housing, a pressure is generated within each of the space sections thanks to the high viscosity of the silicon oil and is directly applied to the piston, whereby rotational power is transmitted from the housing to the rotary shaft and vice versa.
