摘要: A method by a user equipment (UE) is described. The method includes instructing a physical layer of the UE to signal a scheduling request (SR) on a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) based on whether scheduling request counter is less than the maximum number of scheduling request transmission, and transmitting, to an evolved Node B (eNB), the SR on either of the PUCCH on a primary cell and the PUCCH on a PUCCH secondary cell. The scheduling request counter is incremented in a case that the scheduling request counter is less than the maximum number of scheduling request transmission.

摘要: A communication system comprises a base station that includes circuitry and a mobile station that includes circuitry and which is configured to perform random access to the base station using a preamble. The preamble corresponds to an ID number among a plurality of ID numbers, the number of the plurality of ID numbers is constant, the plurality of ID numbers are contiguous, and the ID number is randomly selectable, by the mobile station, from a set of ID numbers which are included in the plurality of ID numbers. The base station notifies the mobile station of information indicating the number of ID numbers which are included in the set of ID numbers. The mobile station acquires, from the base station, the information indicating the number of ID numbers which are included in the set of ID numbers.
