    摘要: A gas sensor control apparatus is provided which controls an operation of a gas sensor made up of a solid electrolyte body and a pair of electrodes to output a signal indicating the concentration of a given gas component contained in gas. The gas sensor control apparatus includes a constant current circuit that is connected electrically to one of the electrodes of the gas sensor and supplies a constant current thereto and a controller. The controller supplies a constant current to the gas sensor so that it flows from one of the electrodes to the other in a selected direction, thereby changing a response time the gas sensor takes to react to a change in concentration of the gas component. This results in an increased accuracy, for example, in controlling an air-fuel ratio of a mixture to an internal combustion engine in an engine control system.

    摘要: A double-deck video tape recorder has two tape cassette slots defined in a front panel thereof for inserting and ejecting respective magnetic tape cassettes therethrough. The double-deck video tape recorder also has a pair of drive mechanisms disposed in a housing for recording information on and reproducing information from the magnetic tape cassettes inserted in the respective drive mechanisms through the tape cassette slots. When an edit direction key is pressed, a control system places one of the drive mechanisms in a playback mode and another of the drive mechanisms in a recording mode. When a start/pause key is pressed, the control system starts to operate the one of the drive mechanisms to reproduce recorded information from the magnetic tape cassette inserted therein and also to operate the other drive mechanism to record the reproduced information in the magnetic tape cassette inserted therein.

    摘要: According to the present invention, in an image enhancer, an output of an outline extracting circuit is transmitted through a band limiting filter for suppressing bands other than an objective frequency band to be enhanced and, thereafter, it is supplied to a noise slicing circuit for eliminating micro amplitude noises. The noises near the cut-off frequency of the filter can be more effectively suppressed and the deterioration of the waveform characteristic of the outline enhancement signal due to the filter can be also improved.

    摘要: When an engine driving condition has been changed from an idling condition to a vehicle running condition, a controller measures an idling period. When the idling period is longer than a determination time period immediately after the vehicle is started, a penetrating-force-decrease control is performed. Therefore, even when a piston temperature is relatively low and particulate matters are easily generated, it can be restricted that fuel adheres to the piston top-surface by performing the penetrating-force-decrease control. Further, in the penetrating-force-decrease control, since the fuel is injected at optimum injection timing, it can be avoided that emission and fuel economy are deteriorated.

The copy guard processing detecting apparatus includes a first circuit for receiving an input video signal which includes a plurality of false synchronizing signals for prevention of duplication inserted in a vertical blanking interval thereof and for counting the number of the false synchronizing signals, a second circuit for counting the number of synchronizing signals in an image interval of the input video signal except the vertical blanking interval, a discriminating circuit for discriminating whether or not copy guard processing is applied to the input video signal from the count values of the first and second circuits, and a recording system for receiving and recording the input video signal based on the results of the copy guard discriminating operation.
