    摘要: An internal combustion engine controller, is used with a fuel-based torque-on-demand control type, multi-cylinder, direct-injection internal combustion engine, to provide an air flow rate control that excels in response and convergence. The internal combustion engine controller includes a section for computing a target throttle opening from operating conditions, which in turn includes a first computing section for determining a target throttle opening by feedback control in accordance with operating conditions including an intake air flow rate; a second computing section for determining a target throttle opening by feed-forward control in accordance with operating conditions; and a third computing means for determining a target throttle opening based on the target throttle opening value determined by the first computing means and the second computing means.

This internal combustion engine controller comprises means for computing a target throttle opening from operating conditions. The means for computing a target throttle opening includes: a first computing means for determining a target throttle opening by exercising feedback control in accordance with operating conditions including an intake air flow rate; a second computing means for determining a target throttle opening by exercising feed-forward control in accordance with operating conditions; and a third computing means for determining a target throttle opening in accordance with a target throttle opening value determined by the first computing means and a target throttle opening value determined by the second computing means.

    摘要: A control apparatus capable of separately detecting an unexpected fluctuation in the amount of NOx discharged from an engine (combustion chamber), separately from deterioration of lean NOx catalyst performance, thereby avoiding incorrect diagnosis of deterioration of the lean NOx catalyst, and ensuring the optimum control of the catalyst. A control apparatus of an engine wherein a lean NOx catalyst having a function of storing the NOx discharged from a combustion chamber in the lean operation mode, and desorbing and cleaning the stored NOx in the rich operation mode is provided in an exhaust path. This control apparatus comprises: a sensor for detecting the amount or concentration of NOx downstream from the lean NOx catalyst; calculation means A for calculating the amount of NOx downstream from the lean NOx catalyst in the lean operation mode, based on the output from this sensor, calculation means B for calculating the amount of NOx stored in the lean NOx catalyst; and means for calculating the NOx storage capacity of the lean NOx catalyst and the amount of NOx discharged from the combustion chamber in the lean operation mode, based on the results of calculations by the calculation means A and B.

    摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a vehicle control apparatus which can achieve a smooth start without generating any engine stall even if general drivers perform a rough starting operation in an MT vehicle, and can execute an engine torque operation having no sense of discomfort with respect to an accelerator operation. A rotating speed drop of an engine generated together with a clutch connection is detected so as to be set to a trigger of a control start, an engine rotating speed at a time of issuing the trigger is set to a target rotating speed, and a rotating speed feedback control having an engine torque as an operation amount is carried out. As an operating means for the engine torque, an ignition retard and a fuel cut are employed in addition to an intake air amount operation by an electronically controlled throttle. It is possible to achieve a just enough torque assist for minimizing a drop of the engine rotating speed at a time of connecting the clutch, by applying the rotating speed feedback control.

    摘要: A basic fuel injection pulse width value indicating an individual performance of an injector and an intake air flow amount value indicating an individual performance of an air flow sensor are prepared so as to memorize in plural memory areas in a store table, respectively. Deviations due to the basic fuel injection pulse width and deviations due to the intake air flow amount are memorized in the memory areas as learning values for controlling an air-fuel ratio, respectively. A corrected fuel injection pulse width is requested under the memorized learning values. An estimation learning is carried out at a first time learning. A first time learning value of the basic fuel injection pulse width is memorized in a whole area of the store table, and a first time learning value of the intake air flow amount is memorized in a corresponding area of the store table. By carrying out the learning on the air-fuel ratio control in accordance the estimation learning, the learning value absorbs the individual performance dispersion of the injector and the air flow sensor.
