摘要: A photodiode receives an infrared signal transmitted from a transmitter. A current distributing unit outputs a detection current Id output from the photodiode as a first detection current Id1 and a second detection current Id2 to a subsequent first current-to-voltage conversion amplifier and a subsequent second current-to-voltage conversion amplifier respectively. The first and second current-to-voltage conversion amplifiers convert the detection currents into voltages with current-to-voltage conversion gains g1 and g2. The current-to-voltage conversion gains g1 and g2 of the first and second current-to-voltage conversion amplifiers are set such that ranges of signal levels in which the distributed detection currents Id1 and Id2 can significantly be amplified differ from each other.

摘要: A discrimination circuit of the present invention checks whether a received signal is noise or a signal that is repeated with interposed rest time periods, and is provided with a low-pass filter that has a cut-off frequency that is lower than the frequency of the noise but higher than the reciprocal of a total period of one frame of the signal that is repeated with interposed rest time periods and the rest time period, and a judgment circuit that judges, according to an output of the low-pass filter, whether the received signal is noise or a signal that is repeated with interposed rest time periods. With this configuration, it is possible to discriminate between noise and a signal that is repeated with interposed rest time periods, and achieve miniaturization.

摘要: The present invention relates to organo(poly)siloxanes modified by phosphates (including alkali metal salts thereof or the like) suitable as a component of cosmetics, and to a process for the manufacture of organo(poly)siloxanes modified by phosphates (including alkali metal salts thereof or the like) comprising reacting an organo(poly)siloxane having a group HO--(R.sup.4 O).sub.q --R.sup.5' --OR.sup.6).sub.r -- in its molecular chain, wherein R.sup.4 -R.sup.6 are alkylene groups, with an oxyhalogenated phosphorus; and further reacting it with an alkaline solution. These phosphate-modified organo(poly)siloxanes can stably emulsify silicone oils commonly used as cosmetic raw materials, irrespective of temperatures, and exhibit excellent compatibility with polar components and good foaming capability, so that they are suitable as a component of cosmetics such as skin cosmetics, skin detergents, hair cosmetics, hair detergents, and the like.
